Blood Type Diet

Has anyone followed this diet? I know a couple people who have had success and wanted some other opinions. Thanks.

I looked into it briefly and every study I saw concluded that it was completely bogus.

Late addition to the post, but I follow the blood type diet principles and it works for me, but some of the principles are similar to training diets anyway. I have O type blood and the diet recommends red meat, chicken, fish and vegetables and rice but no bread/wheat, milk or cheese. I added the facebook widget to make it easier, but monitoring and controlling your intake is going to be more effective than not, no matter what you’re eating.

I believe that same author wrote the Metabolic Diet which he said was much more effective and I have utilized those principles. He still used some blood typing principles for exclusion of certain foods.

but the elimination of allerginic foods such as wheat and dairy would do anyone good, not just type O.
