Blood, Sweat, Iron, and Men in Singlets

No problem. You did your time in the grind and if you do really well in high school (team captain - nice) then there’s no real reason why you’d have to do college unless you love the sport that much. Power lifting is just as bad ass. My two favorite things - Power lifting and Wrestling. The only reason why I want to wrestle college is because I only did 2 seasons and one I sucked horribly and the other I was doing better but I got injured. I can’t just let it slide like that otherwise I’ll look back on my life and always regret letting myself get beat on and giving up because of it.

I’m in Wisconsin currently. You?

170 competition is hard core. It’s harder than heavyweight haha. Looking at all the time you put into working out I have no doubt that you’d be fine, though. Dan Gable said that it’s all about who puts the most time in.

Yeah I love powerlifting just as much if not more than wrestling. I feel you, some days I feel like I dont want that to happen to me either. I’m in NJ, the competition is fierce here i have no idea what its like in wisconsin but most teams are STACKED here.

Thanks man, giving it a shot at least.

Yayyy

Holy squats. Lot’s of volume there.

How many days a week do you lift. Seems like 6, might be wrong.

Do you walk on the treadmill to keep BF down or just to stay in shape. I remember you used to push the prowler. Any reason for the change? Are you done with wrestling?

Skwatz on skwatz on skwatz

4 Technically 6-7. Monday Wednesday Friday and saturday are real days, every other day I either wrestle or do XXXtra workouts. I think they help a metric ton.

I walk just to try and burn calories. To try and get bodyfat off. IMO walkings better for BF loss then pushing the prowler, the prowler is a lot more conditioning. I’m still wrestling I have had issues getting there to my offseason gym lately due to family issues and team committments, but I have been wrestling. I just had 4 matches 2 weeks ago.

7/31/12

Today I threw shotput then spent 2 hours getting the rack together. Took a lot more than I thought it would, so I’m not wrestling tonight. Too tired for it to do any good. Just gonna kill Bench stuff tomorrow.

EDIT: If it wasnt obvious by this I now have a full rack set up to lift in at all times. yayyyyyyyyyyy !
