I’m only 30 years old so I hope it’s ok that I’m poaching in this area
I’ve been feeling very run down lately, not recovering from workouts the way that I would like, not getting any morning wood and occasionally not being able to rise to the occasion when needed. Needless to say I was worried and went to the doc and had blood drawn. The first time he only checked my total test so I had to go back a second time and tell him what I thought needed to be included. The results are as follows, first my reading and then range:
He threw some cialis samples my way and said that if that didn’t fix the erection problems then I should come back and see him about some low dose hormone therapy. (What do you think “low dose” would entail?)
Can anyone give me any imput on these results and maybe how I should proceed from here.
Oh, the first time I got blood drawn my total test was 527. Not that it matters as I know that free test is what’s important.
Cialis helps an erection if you get get that started. It does nothing for desire. You can’t live that way.

T4 looks good. Do you feel cold at times when you should not?
Drugs, Rx or OTC, alcohol, can increase E2 levels which can decrease T. PM me with a list if you wish.
At your age, you really need to fix the problem or get on TRT. Any blows to the head or accidents before this started to happen? An loss of peripheral vision or other visual field disturbances? Pain in your testes? Any illnesses that made your testes ache?
Thank you for the help guys! I’m actively work with the doc to see what my options are. He seems like he might be open to the TRT. I’m worried he may not want to do anything too aggressive though. We’ll see…

I had all the symptoms you do plus I was getting sick every month. It was driving me nuts trying to figure out what was going wrong. Then realized I was doing a few things wrong. I realized I was overtraining, not eating enough healthy fats (or hardly any fat for that matter).
I cut my workouts down to 1 hour time limit and started getting lots of good fats. Found a great source of high quality fish oil. Not sure if it was phsycological, but it seemed like when I started taking the fish oil my strength came on so strong in all areas. Wish I could tell you what my blood work was but never got that far into it. Not getting sick anymore either.
