Blood Results - What Do You Guys Think?

Hey guys, been around lurking for awhile. I know that most of you are more knowledgeable than most Dr’s on this subject. I haven’t been feeling like my normal self the past 2 years or so. Less strength, less energy, etc… So, I went to a TRT Dr. and got got my blood done. Here’s a lil more info about me and the results.

I’m 36, 5’6", 163 pounds. Workout 4/5 days a week. Been losing strength since I lost about 13-15 pounds since the winter and changing to a mostly plant based diet. Also, had a broken rib that put me out of lifting for almost 2 months. Like to golf, hike, ride, kayak, etc… Try to stay physically active. If you want more info from the blood results feel free to ask and I’ll see what I have. I am going in for the post blood draw follow up this Tuesday. Anything stick out to you guys? Anything I should mention or that the Dr. should mention to me? Trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks for any help.

Reverse T3 not tested, Reverse T3 competes for the same receptor as Free T3 and if elevated negates good Free T3 levels. Reverse T3 needs to be under 15 ng/dL. I’m not a fan of calculated Free T, I can tell you I need Free T (directly measured) to be at the top of the range to feel normal and symptoms free, erections don’t happen with Free T midrange.

The question is are you one of those who also needs higher Free T to feel normal?

Thanks for the reply systemlord. I took another look and nope, no reverse results included. I do still get erections, though I don’t hold them like I used to. Can diet or anything else directly affect reverse t levels? I am going to google into it now.

It sounds like you diet change may be the cause of your problems, we need protein in our diet. Start mixing in meat to your diet and take it easy for awhile.
