I’ve been on TRT for 2 months about…I was prescribed 50mg of test a week which after studying I have learned that is not optimal for TRT so I upped my dose to 100 mg a week. And have been feeling great both in the gym and out and every thing that goes with getting your levels back to normal. " mine were low because of cancer and chemo therapy"
My question is …last week I took my 100mg TRT shot plus a 250mg test e shot mid week that a friend gave me “I only did this once” Then I went back to my normal TRT 100mg dose for this week… My question is my doctor wants me to come do my fist set of labs to see how I’m responding to treatment in 3 weeks if I stop injecting all together for this next 3 weeks will my levels be back in TRT range?
According to one of those online test calculators it will be… but I know every ones different so I wanted to ask some of you guys with more experience and knowledge. Will it drop enough in 3 weeks or should I push it back further and reschedule? It’s my primary not a TRT clinic so I can do that no problem. I inject my self not at the docs
I know I’m going to get the why did you not just work with your doc and follow protocol speech. I’m aware of that… but with all I’ve been through I’m also anxious and want to get back in shape and healthy quickly… And Having never used Anabolic’s before I went on TRT ,I was amazed at the strength and muscle I gained back so fast I was excited… So I cheated a little … I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Half life of the drug is 10 days. Why wouldn’t it be cleared from your system in 21? Don’t stop injecting just continue as normal. Or that’s what I would do… Or just keep going as normal and change for the following week

One thing tho I’m confused about half life means the amount the drug takes to half it’s self in dosage correct? Or am I wrong … So say its 10 days like you said and I took the total of 350mg of test last week between the 2 shots… So in 10 days that would be 175 and in another 10 days it would be 87.5 and so on right??? I’m just finding conflicting info doing research on how long the drug stays active in your blood for… With long acting esters.
I just don’t want to show up with thru the roof test results when he only prescribed me 50mg a week…lol…I need to discuss a lot with my doctor I guess… It was his option I should go on TRT and thyroid medication after he did some blood work on me . I did not have to go seeking it out or “talking him into it” as many others seem to have to do… So I can’t see him being super conservative about it but …
Then again 50 mg is a very conservative dose from my reading… I hoping he will be ok with me wanting to be at the top of the normal range and not just where I would be if I did not have low t for my age… I know that’s probably ego… and I should go more on how I feel rather than numbers on a chart but I figure what the hell …if I’m going to do this why not get maximum benefit possible…
After 20 days you should be back to normal but I would hold off on the bloodwork
