Because spotters always know better than we do how many more reps we could do…

Nice lift big guy.

An example spotter experience:
Step 1: load up 220 for cgbp
Step 2: get 2 reps
Step 3: allow the spotter to help me with one more grinder
Step 4: Rack it
Step 5: Disagree heavily that it was all me
Step 6: Disagree further I had “a few more in me”

^ above is why I usually don’t bother asking for one

haha yeah because of stuff like that I only ask friends to spot me and if i dont know them i tell them to stand back and only come near me if i yell spot.

The guy that spotted me has been a powerlifter and strongman for 20 years so i trust him

I like this strategy. Much easier IMO and I feel like when I do eat I absolutely destroy some food.

Lookin good big man, keep it up!

Yeah ive been reading a lot of stuff on Serge Nubret who had probably my faveorite physique of all time and he had the same mindset, hed train in the morning and eat later at night apparently 4lbs of horse meat with lots of beans and rice was a usual for him. He ate at night so hed have the energy for is morning workout which makes sense.

He also did like 2000 situps for abs every day lol

Someone asked me if they could fst7 their abs
