Bis and Tris Bigger Than Your Thighs

Now that we’ve seen a bunch of arms, who has “long” biceps vs “short” biceps? Does anyone have “great insertions,” like their bicep is attached way close to their elbow? Or are their any exceptional bicep peaks?

Also, are arms like reptiles? Do the oldest guys have the biggest pythons?

Mine are short, very high insertion at the elbow, but the tradeoff is that gives a good peak.

Perfect world I’d have a low insertion at the elbow but also insertion further from the shoulder, so short and low rather than short and high, but I didn’t do too badly all things considered in the genetic lottery.

Well, I have been a bit reluctant to post a picture due to my poor genetics, but here is goes.

JK, anyone guess who that amazing arm belongs to?

I don’t have many photos, but here is one that shows the arms a bit.

It is like I am using a flip phone camera lol.

Python noodles need love too!

I don’t think my arm even has that many veins in it :smirk:

OK, that’s a great answer. The muscle is “short” so the peak is good. Your bicep is “high” because it’s close to your shoulder.

And a “lower” bicep would be further from the shoulder. This separation from the delts would make it “Pop” more.

What about for strength? What arrangement do the strongest Curlers have?

I have zero separation from the delt!

So sleeveless, including the delt is a great look.

What about triceps? Do I want a gap between the tri and the rear delt? Or is the tricep supposed to go right up into the shoulder?

Really leaning out dude. Good work. And sweet beard.

Thanks dude! I was 200.6 on this morning weigh in. Hoping I’ll start taking shape any day now :joy:

I think his veins are legit thicker than my fingers

That’s a good question. I don’t know the answer with any certainty but mental physics would suggest a lower attachment would be stronger, though I’m not sure if the ‘higher insertion’ we talk about visually actually corresponds to a physically different or advantageous attachment point for the tendon.

It could simply be the case that the bicep is indeed shorter, with a longer tendon at that end, but attaching to the same spot.

As promised

Not great from this side

I had a hard time finding a good angle. I might try with a different mirror for a future post.

See… that didn’t hurt a bit. Those arms are looking meaty!

You are definitely engineering arms!

Those are healthy lookin arms, dude.

@flappinit @ChickenLittle Thanks. I think they are doing okay for being natty.

I am hoping I can hit 20 inches by the end of this year.

Only my ego :roll_eyes::grin:

Thanks! I’m toying with the idea of focusing on building arms and strength and letting my bloated gut do what it will.

That’s the exact approach I am taking.
