I’ve been talking to a couple fellow T-Nation guys in Canada and we came to the consensus that Biotest has a thing for us Canadians.
I mean, we get stiffed for huge shipping charges while the American guys get free shipping. We are trying to think of ways to make Biotest recognize us Canadians since we too are loyal just like the American customers, only we get the short end of the stick all the time.
Take this hypothetical solution. Instead of offering the free shipping over $150 to only the US guys, what about giving the Canadians free shipping on orders over $250 or even $300? The way I see it, that 55 bucks that I WOULD be spending on shipping can be spent on antother two tubs of Grow! or Surge or even 5 T-shirts so I don’t have to do laundry as often.
Does anyone else have an opinion on this matter, or better yet, a potential solution that will make everyone happy?
I am sure a group of us guys in Ontario can easily put together bulk orders. My past orders have been around 300 bucks each so if 5 or 6 or more of us got together we should be able to make it easier on our wallets.
A shipping deal like is offered to US customers would be cool.
I definitely like the idea. I’m all for the increase in cost i.e. need a $200-300 order…, maybe even more, if we locals band together and wave around our purchasing power. I don’t mind the exchange, even the customs isn’t bad, but the shipping really hurts the wallet. Maybe someone at Biotest could suggest conditions that could result in free/reduced cost shipping?
There must be an answer to shipping costs. Maybe Biotest needs to look into shipping with another company. When every I place orders with others(and I order biotest stuff from them) shipping has never been more than $5.99 and my stuff arrives in 4 days. I’m in T.OI by the way!
I was going to start a similar thread regarding getting Grow! powder into Australia, but thought I may as well join this thread. I want to order some soon and would like to know if any other Aussies have had the same problems the Canadian guys have had. Any idea how much the shipping costs are?

I am up for a bulk canadian order. We should setup some type of mailing list to discuss it further. I would be in probably for 3 containers or Grow! plus a few things of Surge.
Just imagine, import it into Canada here and then reship across Canada without having to clear customs again. Heaven for our friends out west!
The overall price probably wouldn’t change at all, but when you ordered something you would at least know it was already in Canada and that there would be no risk of seizure.
Business-wise there is the problem of inventory of course.
Maybe we could arrange it somehow that we all place our orders w/ Biotest but they ship it to only one persion in ontario(who is trusted and preferably a long standing T-Nation member). This person then distributes to the rest of us.
This way we are still dealing w/ Biotest as far as the majority of cash flow goes (other then supplying the central distributer w/ money for shipping).
Hell I would be willing to pay an extra few bucks(aslong as it doesn’t out weigh the benefits of ordering in this manner to begin with) if someone like JB & SciLink or CT where willing to do the redistribution.
I totally agree with ya guys. Shipping charges are way to high!! I’m willing to buy my supplements from T-Nation, if the shipping charge was more affordable.
I feel like throwing my money out of windows only with the shipping cost…
I too, would love cheaper rates on shipping, being in Montreal, we need some good supps and i love Biotest, shipping is just too much that it just doesnt make it as worthwhile. BIOTEST GUYS LETS DO SOMETHING!
