I was hoping to start the Velocity Diet by Chris Shugart. As a result, I need to purchase a relatively large quantity of Biotest supplements.
I have heard reports that various Biotest supplements (such as HOT-ROX Extreme) create problems going through Australian customs. Could anyone from Australia please confirm if any of the following order would be stopped by Australian customs?
07x Metabolic Drive (Low Carb, Banana)
03x Metabolic Drive (Low Carb, Strawberry)
02x HOT-ROX Extreme
02x Flameout
02x Surge Recovery
01x BCAA
01x SuperFood
Obviously, I would prefer to order from the T-Nation store, as the prices are much more competitive (even with the weak Australian dollar) than the Australian Biotest store. However, I don’t want any complications with Australian customs, as I would like to start the Velocity Diet as soon as possible.
Even if the above mentioned supplements were to get through Australian customs without problems (on their own), do you think that such a large quantity would not be deemed for “personal use”? Would it be a better idea to place multiple orders with smaller quantities?
Also, are there any Velocity Diet package discounts for men? I noticed that there was one for women listed in the article featured on Figure Athlete.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
No, the HOT-ROX Extreme won’t be allowed through customs and they will confiscate the entire order is one item is illegal. I have only ever made one order with Biotest and it got through customs very quickly BUT i know people who have had to wait up to 6 weeks for their shipment to come through. And if your order is over a certain amount, you will have to pay GST on it when it comes in.
Finally, the international shipping costs for Biotest are absolutely ridiculous, expect to add another $US170-200 just for the shipping. Maybe Biotest could explain why it’s so expensive?

Our international shipping rates are quoted in real time by FedEx and USPS based on order size and destination.
OK, so everything in the order apart from HOT-ROX Extreme should get through customs OK? I can always purchase the normal HOT-ROX through the Australian Biotest store I guess.
I noticed that my order would be $150 USD for delivery. However, even with the expensive shipping costs it still works out cheaper than to buy it from the Australian Biotest store.
Sorry, one further question. Since HOT-ROX Extreme are unavailable in Australia, would combining the standard HOT-ROX with Carbolin 19 have a similar effect?
I believe there has also been issues with protein powders however the issues are to do with other brands not Biotest, I think it’s todo with the egg protein or something similar. What part of aid are you from?
I’m pretty sure you can get HOT-ROX through. I’ve seen it on ebay from a number of Australian sellers. I believe the ingredient that wasn’t accepted was yojimbe or something and it’s been taken out. Don’t quote me on that, you can always ring customs or look on the internet to see what substances are banned. Everything else is fine.
I’ve made some large orders from Biotest before(check my profile pic) and haven’t had any problems but I’ve never order HOT-ROX. My first order was around $400 or so and got held up in customs and taken to quarantine and took about 2-3 weeks to get.
My second order which I think was like $1200 was delivered in less then a week. Never had to make smaller orders or nothing. Went straight through.
As for shipping, Biotest won’t do anything about it. I was putting through some decent size orders and was planning to do more but they couldn’t even offer me anything. High petrol prices were the reason.
I just noticed you wanted HOT-ROX Extreme. I’m not sure about it but if the Biotest Australia store doesn’t stock it, it usually means you can’t get it.
