Sorry Simon, in America, you are required to have a full array of shots, a physical exam (including rectal probe) as well as earning your certification on each machine you wish to use. Only kidding, most just make you sign a little card promising not to sue. Guest prices for gyms in the Albany area range from 0 - 10 dollars, (for you UK t-men that equals 2.3 pound sterling, 7842 pence, or 31 1/2 squid) I recommend grabbing a phone book and calling around to compare rates, or just going to the one closest to you. Or you could do the tried and true method of asking how long you are allowed to use each club for the free trial period, then pushing it until they forcibly evict you, then going to the next place for another “free trial”
Rafael, i like your style. The free trial method is one I am currently employing over here at my current gym. I’ve been going for 3 weeks now and i just sign a scribble in the guest book and then go on in. Noone’s noticed yet!!! I’ve also adopted this method to credit cards, taking advantage of 6 montns low interest before moving on the the next offer. Only the credit card people aren’t as easily persuaded to extend their offer as the foxy fitness chick behind the desk at the gym. I’ll check out the prices when I’m there.
