And your point is faulted. We have not achieved full equality yet in society. We are damn close, but not there yet, therefore acting like the two are equally interchangeable makes no sense. A belief that blacks are a negative held by whites would still hold more power in society than if the same sentiment were held by blacks concerning whites. It is as simple as numbers on this one and pretending like it isn’t so doesn’t erase that.
So what you are saying is that bigotry is acceptable in the black community but not the white community? Wrong is wrong no matter what, and it is during trying times that a person’s character is tested.
What am saying is that what you may perceive as “anti-white” sentiment is a generation pissed at what this country (which is MAJORITY WHITE) allowed to happen to black people.
It must be very easy for you, as someone who has probably experienced this shit on very rare occasions to tell everyone else how they should respond to it.

Yep, and interestingly even if the cab driver is black. The sad part is nobody has ever uncovered the real reason why. Tips. This is actually not about racism, but about greed. Try this out, go to NY, and hold up a sign saying “I TIP BIG!” in bold letters so the cab driver can see it. He’ll pull over for you. (Wow, this will probably start a debate.)
That is still considered institutional racism, even if it is instigated by other black people. I have written before that some of the issues I have had based on skin color in my own profession come from older black women who have been conditioned to consider black professionals as less competent (I had one walk into the room, make a direct comment to my skin color and then request to see the other doctor on staff who was Asian). It is still racism and it all comes from the same place. It is basically no different than those studies using black and white dolls and asking the child which one is “bad”. Some of those people from that generation were that deeply affected by it.
This still goes on but people aren’t supposed to openly react to it by naming its source?

I am not saying you are promoting racism, just giving it a pass or even justifying it if the person is black.
I’m letting you know that what you may see as racism in some of these comments (barring ridiculous statements like “garlic nosed Italians”) is hatred for how a country allowed this to happen for so long. You can refuse to see that the issues are still occuring (all be it in smaller doses) all you wish. It won’t change the people hurt by it or how they will react to it in the future.
