Big Upper Body and Chicken Legs

That’s a pretty crappy picture of Ronnie when he was really chasing the mass. Not really my style, either.

He looked insane back in “the day”, though (eg, his earliest training video - not sure what it’s called).

Start the day?!?!? It’s Saturday night here! My Saturday night is now in shambles! Why do you laugh at other people’s misfortunes?

Dude, all the frames were stretched.
Nevertheless, there is a clear emphasis on making his legs look as scrawny as possible: the degree of stretch peaks when his thighs are central and fully visible, and diminishes as the camera pans up to his torso.

If the images were all subject to the same level of distortion, then his upper body would look like Mr. Fantastic’s (look how stretched his right forearm is when his thighs are still in frame).

I’m not concerned with how it was done, my opinion is that it’s the result of somebody fucking around and not a result of accidentally being in the wrong ratio.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not questioning the new standards, I’m just expressing a personal opnion. From my point of view something about Coleman makes me think he is a bit… weird ?, I don’t know what it is though, perhaps is his gym outfit that reminds me of that guy who fought with Stallone in a movie. I don’t think the same thing of the other bodybuilders, like Cutler or Lee Priest.
Carl Weathers in Rocky?
He just played in the latest episode of Psych. He still looks good.
Actually Wesley Snipes in Demolition Man.
I still don’t know why, but everytime I watch that “Yeahh buuddy” video of Coleman I instantly think of Snipes in that movie.
How do you forget Snipes?
But your new avvie excuses you

It’s okay ID, I’m 5 feet so I have permission to call people elves.

Now stop instigating and let things carry on.
Show me a birth certificate and maybe I will.

The images were stretched. All of them. Proportion remains the same. A thin leg will always look thin in relation to a more developed upper body, no matter how much distortion to the photo.

Stretch a pic of Ronnie Coleman and his legs will still not look thin.

^^ That’s pretty clever. I never would’ve thought of that.

Now let’s say all the pics of my legs were also stretched so that Professor X will stop telling his patients to floss regularly with Nards’ Legs Brand Dental Floss.

Why would I do that? I just bought stock in that company seeing as they should be in business for a very LONG time.

Dude, don’t give X credit for MY threat to go spine ripping. I’m hurt.

If anyone is curious, it’s a lot like the throat-ripping in Macgruber.

I think you need to reconsider this statement. If it is stretched along the y axis it will not change the width on the x. In other words length will increase in proportion to width.

Edit: Unless I misunderstood which I guess I did. But his legs and upper body arent in the same frame right?

Oh fuck this, his legs are slightly skinnier in proportion to his upper body when he was filming white chicks.

what am I doing with my life?

Why are we talking about Terry Crews legs instead of, I dunno, Megan Fox’s ?

It seems from the OP there would be a ton of people walking around looking like this.

I’m starting to rack up a lot of time in gyms around the US, and I’m not seeing this type of thing anywhere. In fact, I’m not seeing a lot of big guys period, let alone so out of proportion that they’re even worth discussing.
