I remember the far-left spending MONTHS burning, looting, and trying to kill federal agents. Or are you talking about that one day in January?
Bringing up facts?
It’s inane to keep some scorecard between Hitler and Stalin. Is the problem how many deaths each one caused or that they both killed a hell of a lot of people?
Are we going to say that with regard to what happened to the Indians in America and the Jews in Germany, one was worse than the other?
Now you qualify left.
One of the reasons I am a conservative is that it has always seemed more likely that liberals would be more likely to turn this country into an authoritarian state. That is no longer the case.

** Through the remainder of 2021, racially- or ethnically-motivated violent extremists (RMVEs) and anti-government/anti-authority violent extremists will remain a national threat priority for the United States. These extremists may seek to exploit the emergence of COVID-19 variants by viewing the potential re-pestablishment of public health restrictions across the United States as a rationale to conduct attacks. Pandemic-related stressors have contributed to increased societal strains and tensions, driving several plots by domestic violent extremists, and they may contribute to more violence this year.*
*** Foreign and domestic threat actors, to include foreign intelligence services, international terrorist groups and domestic violent extremists, continue to introduce, amplify, and disseminate narratives online that promote violence, and have called for violence against elected officials, political representatives, government facilities, law enforcement, religious communities or commercial facilities, and perceived ideologically-opposed individuals. There are also continued, non-specific calls for violence on multiple online platforms associated with DVE ideologies or conspiracy theories on perceived election fraud and alleged reinstatement, and responses to anticipated restrictions relating to the increasing COVID cases.**
The prospect of antifa leading a leftist civil war is a fucking joke. Whereas 30% of Republicans are hard core lunatic Qanon supporters who are ready for violence, there’s nowhere near that many Democrats that are in the antifa camp.
For reference, see the post from Idaho a couple of days ago about the incident in Portland. The narrative was that these big bad antifa morons assaulted peace loving Christians and the police did nothing about it. In reality a small group of antifa losers tried to disrupt a political rally put on by Covid deniers and they got kicked out and then arrested. I know I know, they and the proud retards had a roman candle war! EEK! I used to do that every 4th and NYE with my brothers and my cousins.
Meanwhile here’s a Trump supporter:
Asshole stabbed to death his 2 year old and his 10 month old because he said they had serpent DNA.
You brought up fascists going back 100 years and Reagan (likely before your birth) as examples of current Right.
It was to show that the right does have a history of violence. Of course, comparing Reagan to Hitler is silly, just as it’s silly to compare Antifa to the average democrat.
And what I said about Reagan and Granada is true. Beirut was his Benghazi.
I think hammering Biden over this is perfectly fine, but the mental gymnastics performed to ignore everything that Trump did is just hilarious with the came and went stuff.
And there is that mental gymnast hard at work work with the came and went. He just called election fraud like everyone else has? He actively tried to overturn an election because he lost. And attempted to use the power of the presidency to help him do so.
I mean if you’re going to be absolutely blindly partisan just say that and save everyone the time? A simple I’m not going to criticize Republicans or something.
What’s hurting you is people don’t have short memories. So everyone can remember you deflecting and ignoring every comment or move and now being super upset.
Biden derangement syndrome? White hair bad? Am I doing this right yet?!
Can you back your point up, or not?
Let’s hear your case for whatever scars you’re imagining from the Trump Administration that handicap our society today, during the Biden Administration. I’m good with allowing any shape or form, including broad narratives with sweeping language open to wide interpretation.
Let’s hear it. Trump seems to be the most pertinent topic in this thread that is ostensibly about the Biden Administration, presently running the Executive Branch of the United States government.
If you can’t make a case or even attempt something like it, what are you even posting about?
At what point did I ever give the impression that I’m some impartial source of purely objective information that you can trust unconditionally?
What in the fuck standard are you holding me to?
Dude no one is holding you to a standard they are laughing or pointing out hypocrisy. At the very minimum don’t you think it’s a little strange to attack Biden’s speech or something as him being nuts when you were just calling half the forum out for caring about what the President said?
How many times you going to ask this? It’s the same song and dance and it went through Trump threads and whatever. At what point do you get tired of it? Ever? Because if so you’re stronger than me. Every single thing that I bring up or
others has probably already been discussed in earlier threads. You know the ones where over and over again you’d say orange man bad or TDS every time.
Claims of election fraud which is a decades long tradition. I mean it’s one thing to hammer Biden over and over which is fine and like all politicians on both crooked sides they have plenty to go after (I know you got mad at me the last time I dared suggest both sides had issues). But it’s another to just be so blind in your rage against Dems that you type something like that out with a straight face.
I mean maybe I’m remembering wrong but wasn’t there at least a point maybe pre Trump that you called out Republicans as well often. Forgive me if I’m mixing you up with someone else. Maybe it really has always been that way? I’m getting older I rarely post on here with the frequency I used to and I’ve been on here for years. Names blend together.
If it is it is. I was just wondering if you felt like saying it instead of strongly implying it with every single post.
Every time. You back your points up with made-up narratives. Of course I will call that out and ask you to explain what you mean. Of course you will fail every time.
I don’t owe it to you or anyone else to echo your points of view.
So you want to have the same discussion over and over again where people show you how Trump was different and that he didn’t just “complain about election fraud like everyone else?”
Why not just go back and reread the Trump thread where the same discussion was had a million different times already?
I can’t show you one thing about Trump that you won’t dismiss and handwave away as no big deal. I mean “came and went and “just like everyone else”don’t deserve a reply with specifics you already know about and don’t care. They deserve a giant laugh. Which is what they get from me.
If he was a Democrat it would have been a different story. You would have really cared then. But he has the magic R and that’s good enough for you. Just don’t expect the rest of us to not point it out.
This is a thread about the Biden Administration, presumably to discuss Biden Administration policy and rhetoric.
You don’t have anything to say in support of any of the policies being discussed.
All you do is cry “but Trump!” and pretend like you somehow make a good point about the Biden Administration.
By all means, continue demonstrating the weakness of Democrat policy by avoiding the subject to talk about the psychic pain you’re still experiencing from the Trump administration, or whatever you think the lingering affects are.
As usual, I have no idea what you’re actually talking about because you don’t explain it. Orange Man Still Bad. I get that much.
I may not agree with @twojarslave regarding Trump… But I can demonstrate this isn’t true.
Hey @twojarslave, what do you think of Marjorie Taylor Greene?
I happen to think she may literally be insane…
TJ: she doesn’t represent most Republicans.
What about AOC?
TJ: she is your typical Democrat.
The majority of the Republicans in congress are just as bad as the majority of the democrats in congress
Fair question, and I can answer in a straightforward manner.
I don’t know a great deal about her, aside from her crazy rhetoric that lands her in the news headlines. After a cursory review of her record…
I’m not a big fan of saying dumb things that don’t help anyone or Crossfit coaches more broadly, but policy-wise she’s nothing spectacular or radical. She seems to like symbolic legislation and reliably votes against most bills. She will also likely come and go, leaving little significant lasting impact on the policy of the US government. Just like Trump did. Just like I generally prefer all of my politicians to if they can’t somehow manage to reduce the scope and scale of the government, which hasn’t been done in my lifetime.
If I had to find something good to say about her, it’s that she’s a fighter. Republicans need to seek out more candidates who actually possess a spine. Rolling over to incremental Democrat policies as decades go by isn’t working out well for anyone, and now we’re here with some really radical stuff on the table like HR 1.
For examples of Republicans who fit the “fighter” bill (IMO) and have solid records on policy and rhetoric, consider Dan Crenshaw or Ron DeSantis. If we need to have politicians, which I believe we do, we need more of that sort of politician.
Since AOC was brought up, it is true that I’m much more concerned with AOC than MJT. AOC is, in fact, having success in implementing her stated policy goals. Perhaps not legislatively as a leader in Congress, but all you need to do is pick up the news and read what’s happening in Democrat strongholds today at other levels of government. Or, if you’ve got more patience than I do, read through the trillions of dollars being recklessly pumped into the economy right now by the Federal government. There’s non shortage of leftist pipe dreams to sink our labor and treasure into.
HR 1, I will continually remind everyone, is on-the-table. This is massively impactful legislation being advanced by Joe Biden with brazen lies and completely inaccurate Jim Crow comparisons.
AOC’s policy goals, along with the broader goals of the Democrats, are what I believe needs to be prevented. It would be nice if we could get some meaningful government reform as well, but that’s unlikely so I’ll take what I can get.
If anyone is interested in discussing the present administration here in the Biden 2021 thread, you guys know I’m game.
Back on that topic, here’s Jen Psaki explaining in plain English that social media is acting on behalf of Democrats, but not nearly as much as they want.
Don’t forget they banned a sitting President and now a sitting US Senator. Don’t forget that you’d get banned for discussing the racist and conspiratorial possibility that the Wuhan Flu came from a virology lab in Wuhan, China. Don’t forget that those same clowns declared the Hunter Biden story as “misinformation” and banned The New York Post during the last election. Apparently Hunter has lost another laptop. Just yesterday I heard audio of Biden having a conversation with a prostitute, who asked the obvious question of “aren’t you worried about blackmail?”.
Yes, insightful hooker, we are worried about blackmail. So was Hunter Biden.
Don’t worry though, Jen is on it to make sure you don’t need to hear about distractions like Hunter Biden’s compromising behavior or how, exactly, he’s found someone to pay him hundreds of thousands of dollars for his art.
“We’re making sure social media platforms are aware of the latest narratives…”
“You shouldn’t be banned from one platform and not others…”
Why is talking to a hooker worthy of political controversy? I could go down to a brothel (when we aren’t locked down) and talk to a hooker without procuring her services
Donald Trump paid a pornstar for sex… Isn’t that the same thing as paying for a hooker? Didn’t seem to stir up THAT much of an uproar. I’d think people probably don’t care THAT much about stuff like this
Did you just bring up the last President in this thread?!?! We can’t do that!
And to be fair I don’t think he paid her for sex. He paid her to stay quiet about the sex.
But keep your eye on the ball. That wasn’t important at all. Bringing that up is orange man bad. Now talking to a hooker if you’ve got the name Biden? That’s beyond awful.
Now don’t start talking about corruption with the Trump children or their father. That’s not important at all. We learned that it wasn’t important in the Trump thread it was TDS and orange man bad.
That wasn’t important. Hunter Biden’s art is!
It isn’t in my opinion. Not by itself. That snippet of my larger post isn’t about Hunter Biden’s greasy sex life. Or Trump’s for that matter.
The concern is around the rest of the behavior being discussed and the obvious potential for problems (like blackmail) caused when the Presidents son is openly associating with some very seedy people. High as a kite as well. I also can’t get my head around how he feels the need to film so much of this and then be remarkably careless with his devices. This is a man in his 50’s, btw.
You don’t have kids, but if you ever do you’ll understand why this is concerning. Parents will do anything to protect their kids.
The other part of the concern is how the media somehow felt the need to suppress this story as it was breaking during the election. The concerted efforts of social media in particular, mentioned several times here and in my Jon Stewart thread, are also of particular concern.
We’re moving towards American Pravda or American Global Times, and that’s not cool with me.
I also think the American people deserve an explanation for why the buyers willing to pay exorbitant sums for the President’s son’s self-taught artwork must be anonymous.
Now that you guys have addressed the most minor, fringe issue in my entire post, care to discuss any of the other points I made? Or perhaps explain the benefits of some of the Biden policy agenda?
Even in his reply he can’t help but default to downplaying her and defending and bringing up a Democrat that’s the true problem.
The thing is it’s not like Trump was President in 1990. We have a thread that isn’t that old at all where some people are defending Trump over and over again or calling people talking about it obsessed and deranged. And then the moment someone else takes office and does something similar or even not as bad the rage from them is blinding. Point out the double standard and that rage is back because “can’t we talk about something else other than the fact that I just defended this months ago and now attack it?”
I think that’s why it’s brought up so often by multiple people in this thread. Because it’s incredibly fresh. It’s the same with the posters we had who flipped the fuck out at Obama over the national debt and then automatically didn’t give one shit when Republicans took office. Now that was back when the board was more active and you may not have been around.
But that’s the type of stuff that I will admit I have a hard time not pointing out. Because it’s people who don’t care about corruption, words, actions, etc truly. It’s people who care about that stuff only when it hurts the other team.
I will fully admit that it’s a problem of mine to constantly point that out and will take a step back from the thread. I haven’t been posting a lot lately and have been actively trying to be on the net less. Highly recommended!
