Jesus the mental backflips these people do. “It would strip 3 electors…” You only have them because of the 23rd. Plus the population would dump into Maryland and one would assume increase their number of electors. WE ALL KNOW WHY…
Please clarify, I wouldn’t want to come to a wrong conclusion if I take you out of your intended context?
Indeed, we do. It’s like modern day cross-burning. I guess. F_ck Racism! Where’s the pat on the head I should be getting for bravely standing up to the American Racist, the most powerful and numerous creature on earth?

Honeymoon coming to an end?
I’m willing to entertain the idea, but I haven’t seen data to back that up. Do states like Colorado and Utah have a higher incidence of fraud than states that limit mail-in ballots?
Meanwhile, I just saw this, which doesn’t help the voter fraud case. Sidney Powell’s statements about Dominion shouldn’t be taken as “fact”. They’re just “claims”. Those claims have damaged lot of people’s faith in the process for no reason.
This is a good point and something I hadn’t considered. If this is something quickly shot down in courts, then why all the hullabaloo?
Yea, I think any reasonable person would agree this is silly.
It took a war to end slavery in the US, not some appeal to morality or human decency. People actually killed and were killed to protect slavery or rather, they died to protect the rights of those wealthier than they to own slaves.
It’s funny how all of the fraud talk stopped once the lawyers got involved.
It was white people fighting other white people to end slavery, yet today all white people are somehow tainted by slave ownership of a minority of people(including other blacks). I do understand and agree with your point about the Reb’s

@kjm:
Yeah…it looks like she is taking the “Tucker Carlson” defense that saved his ass.
Essentially, the judge said any “reasonable” person would know that Carlson (and in this case Powell); were stating opinion and not fact:
"The "‘general tenor’ of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not ‘stating actual facts’ about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in ‘exaggeration’ and 'non-literal commentary. "
“Whether the Court frames Mr. Carlson’s statements as ‘exaggeration,’ ‘non-literal commentary,’ or simply bloviating for his audience, the conclusion remains the same — the statements are not actionable.”
This.
This cannot be emphasized enough.
What percent of people are reasonable though? I feel like when phrases like “any reasonable person” get thrown around that they should apply to a vast majority of people. I don’t think that is the case here, it seems reasonable here applies to a slight majority.
Any reasonable person would know that qanon is bullshit and biden won the election. Therefore a large majority of republicans are unreasonable?
The judge seems to be giving the general public far too much credit for their faculties.
A key difference is one is a TV pundit and the other an attorney. Keep in mind, she claimed she had evidence.
True.
It seems that Powell may have to clear a much higher Bar?
Well the first Biden gun grab didn’t take long at all. Let’s see how this goes.
Biden urges Congress to pass assault weapon ban | TheHill
It won’t effect me at all after that unfortunate boating accident that sent all of my firearms to the bottom of the ocean. I’ll be happy to supply the approximate coordinates to the appropriate authorities.
Don’t let a tragedy go to waste. There’s no need to explain how any of these laws might actually save lives, because they won’t. These laws are common sense, after all. There are centuries of gun control data to draw upon, yet gun control advocates still rely on lies and misinformation to sell their point. That’s because the data do not support gun control in the USA, they support armed citizens.
He was inspired by Reagan.
He said at least twice in the speech that he had no idea what kind of gun/magazines/modifications were used and had no idea what kind of background screening the shooter underwent, but he still calls for banning guns and more background checks. It’s insane.
