Come 2023 anytime a NY resident interacts with DMV or “another state agency,” they will be automatically registered. The problem being we currently issue drivers licenses to illegal aliens in NY as well. We’ve been assured they will be excluded from auto register, but we shall see.

When are the Trumpublicans going to accept the fact that even if they required retinal scans, DNA testing and 235 forms of ID before one Votes…that there will always…always be some degree of fraud and/or of those trying to game the system. There always HAS been, and there always WILL BE. Activities that involve humans with never, ever be flawless.
With voting; there is a huge, huge difference between the things that are inherent to human activities; and illegal and fraudulent activities LARGE enough and COORDINATED enough that completely change the outcome of an election.
This simply DID NOT and COULD NOT happen.
The extent of coordinated, fraudulent activity that would have had to occur to change the outcome of the last election defies all logic and probability.

I don’t know what they do but since voter fraud is a non issue, they must be doing something right.
Something to consider, since Trump is a birther and many of his followers are not that bright, is that no one will be satisfied with any measures that are taken. First they cried for Obama’s birth certificate, then they cried about it being fake. So you can cry about ID but how can we know for sure the ID is real? We can never know, unless a Republican wins. Then the election has to have been on the up and up. The whole voter fraud complaining is just loser talk.

I don’t believe voter fraud is currently an issue which actually affects election outcomes.
I believe that requiring some sort of minor effort in order to vote is a good idea; I believe making it easier and easier (whatever that means) to vote can lead to increased voter fraud, which might actually lead to election outcomes being affected, especially in the contested swing states.
