Dick Cheney’s recent endorsement of Kamala Harris has really made me feel good about my politics as an adult. He was the first national-level politician I grew to despise and I’m very pleased to still hold political views that don’t align with his.

Seems like she has talked with and negotiated with plenty of work leaders, one would guess mostly about economics and security related issues (Russian invasion of Ukraine, israel-gaza situation for example). She was also on the senate intelligence committee, and it’s SOP to visit and/or fly into us military bases when traveling overseas, so I’m sure she’s visited bases in Asia, Central America, Africa and Europe.

As for her duties as the border czar, correct me if I am wrong but, she was never the border czar. She was tasked with addressing to root causes for immigration from Central America. It was always meant to be a long term approach and is why she spent her time and effort south of mexico trying to improve the conditions that led to folks fleeing their country.
