Biden 2021 - A Mediocre Middle Ground

Look at her background and qualifications before you put too much weight behind her words.

You’re just punching down on women and people of color.

But…I thought if I voted for her[or Obama], that was my triumphant “I am NOT a racist/white supremacist” badge that I could proudly wave around, instantly making me become good friends, maybe even homies, to the black/brown/women/trans… people? Sadly, you can almost see/feel many of the self-loathing, guilt-ridden white people thinking this, who are in attendance at the democrat convention. I still have not figured out why they have such a burning desire to be liked, to be “forgiven” for the sins of their ancestors, to be “cool”? It’s very perplexing.

It’s a complex perplexment.

I just love the irony of a member of the celebrate diversity crowd tearing down such a brave and stunning woman, who accomplished and contributed so much.

The DNC crowd is such a bunchof eunuchs. I’m just glad to see the tide turning against their empty headed virtue signaling and vapidly empty, uselessly emotional positions.

I think they have a burning desire related to your question, but I’m not sure it’s for those things.

This headline from last year is both hilarious and depressing. Dick Cheney was an extremely unlikable guy before he got his lackey to apologize for assaulting Dick Cheney’s shotgun blast with his face.

It’s amazing how unlikable she was to Democrat voters, even in her home state, and even after Biden stepped aside no one was really enthusiastic about her as a possible candidate. I think Newsom was seen as a good choice to represent the Democratic party. But now that she has been anointed, she’s the golden child. I personally find this sudden enthusiasm rather manufactured. This is really all about anyone other than Trump. The crazy thing is, she could win. To me, this is a sign of a democracy under threat more than anything Trump has done. The candidate no one wanted is somehow going to find herself being the one who wins.

That’s one helluva hot take. She raised $100mil from 1mil donations in the day after Biden stepped down. Her groundswell of immediate support was so large even the trump campaign commented on her momentum.

In your bubble (this echo chamber of a subforum) she had/has little support. Time to go outside and touch grass.

Better to have “self-loathing” whites rather than racist groupthink.

Do you actually believe that white people are either self-loathing or adhering to racist groupthink? Are those our only two choices?

What are the examples of racist group think you find most concerning in 2024?

No those aren’t the two choices.

I put self-loathing in quotations to emphasize that I do not think white people voting democrat/left are self-loathing.

Even if they are ignorant, I’d say they are more empathetic human beings.

No examples concern me, but I should probably stay the hell off social media and comment sections.

When you bring up racism in every post…that makes you the racist

Said every racist ever

I am rubber, you are glue…what you say bounces off me and sticks to you

You are rubber.

You stink.

She dated Willie brown +20 years ago, and the last job he could have helped her get was 3 promotions ago. It would be a fairly misogynistic and sexualized take, but at least it would be more accurate to say she blew her way into local office, and then rose to power.

Speaking of sexual improprieties amongst the candidates, it’s not like she has a long history of sexual assault/rape. That would be a much bigger issue wouldn’t you agree?

Who has that?

The Clintons aren’t running again, are they?
