100%. People advocating or predicting a civil war are either the actually weird fringe or benefiting from doomsday predictions. Donald Trump was actually POTUS and he didn’t actually obstruct the peaceful transfer of power. Why do you think he would do it now as a private citizen? How do you think he would do it? Think seriously about these questions and ask yourself whether you actually think it is likely or possible, or are you just falling into a apocalypse porn fantasy to justify vilifying Trump.
Plenty of MAGA folks in place around the country as elections officials. Many on record as believing 2020 was stolen and trump won. Those election officials need to certify their local election results, and if trump puts out a message (as he did in Georgia) to find votes or to not certify, these people may follow that direction.
I do not believe there would be a coup or civil war. But I think that the transfer of power could be delayed and/or hijacked by elections officials more loyal to trump than to the USA.
The democrats had a coup by forcing Biden out and coronating Harris…not one primary vote went to your queen
i would say the Obama, Rice, Clinton and Harris regime will be the ones to start a coup when transferring the power from Biden to Trump

Biden dropped out. Voluntarily. As we all agree he should have. Harris was on the Biden ticket, and a vote for Biden was also a vote for harris. It was far too late to redo all primaries, and so the electors gave their votes to Harris as the nominee (which they are allowed to do). Its not a coup if it was legal, agreed to by all involved, and everyone is happy about it.
I hope that the election goes smoothly with no partisan interference. And if there is partisan interference WE ALL shout it down immediately, and forcefully.

Nah, the hippies are still onboard with changing for the better…and things have gotten a lot better in countless aspects. The straightedge sellouts, who back then sneered at the hippies are same boomers who created many of the problems we see today.
Just like today, there are the folks afraid of change, and there are those in favor of change (progress). It’s better to have a voice in the progress instead of sneering at it.
