You do realize Biden was quoting someone else correct?
And in defense of black people at that. He was trying to keep a racist from a job.
I am not sure I understand this. It sounds like you want the media to be tough on Biden because they were tough on Trump? I don’t understand that line of reasoning given that you think how the media handled Trump was wrong. It is like you want two wrongs done instead of one. Isn’t it better to do less wrong things?
I don’t think the media was tough on Trump. Then again he shifted so often and said so many new outlandish things you couldn’t possibly cover any of it fully. By the time one started writing about something he had said that was idiotic he’d already said three new idiotic things.
But yet, that doesn’t stop you from commenting on it.
It’s called watching the news.
Because he didn’t do that.
But, but…
Here’s a difference, had Biden actually used that word, even Democrats would have condemned him. Had Trump used that word, Republicans would have made excuses.
There is a documentary on the topic of dance hating conservatives called Footloose.
Just because I brought attention to it doesn’t mean it is what you say.
Off the top of my head…
Most executive orders, specifically the Keystone Pipeline, gutting border protections, HR 1 should it somehow make its way to his desk, modernizing regulatory review vie EO, I could continue on but it is best to look at each policy by itself.
Of course, being a democrat means that very few in the media will examine the outcomes left in the wake of your policies, as long as they’re sufficiently “woke” or “progressive”. That’s why everyone in America who had to put up with the riots over the summer had their Democrat leaders stand the police down, but when a mob of un-armed idiots stroll into the Capitol you deploy a few divisions of soldiers.
We are approaching peak woke, or at least I hope we are.
I’d prefer honesty and affinity for facts.
I realize why he was saying, but that doesn’t make it OK.
It would be more correct to say he accidentally said a word that some could hear as sounding like the n word.
It’s called reported speech and there is nothing wrong with it.
It’s a different time and if that was today he likely would have said the n word. But he was quoting someone and trying to keep that person from a position based on that person’s words. The context is important.
That’s not even the worst of it he gave aid to Texas during the winter storm and didn’t even point out that it was a red state!
I think you are in the minority on that. The news saw ratings go up as they transitioned from fact based reporting to more sensational things. Many will say they want facts, but don’t tune in when that is what is presented.
I don’t watch news. More read things. Most of my news these days probably comes from articles posted here and 538.
It is important to remember that it is a news business, not a news service. If it ever becomes a news service it will be even scarier, because that’s when you’re in a one-party state. Sadly, that seems to be the direction in which the Democrats are intent on marching us towards.
If the last four years are any indication, much of our media landscape has already made the shift.
60 generators and enough food for 3 meals each for 75,000 people. Hehe, like leaving a $2 tip for a $1000 bill.
Like the current Trumpublicans?
Please…
Yep.
It’s time for my Xanax refill.
What would you say has been the biggest lie I’ve fallen for and repeated on these forums?
I can point out a number of falsehoods that were repeated on these forums for years on end. Now that time has gone by we can look back and reflect on our own foolishness…
More like giving a handout to someone who previously bragged about their independence, but now needs your help.
Ive got a grown kid, so lm hip to that.
Seriously though, thats pretty pitiful to brag about.
Like getting $600 once to people when their housing is 1500 each month.
TBF to you, I know nothing about the scope of the relief. It very well may be less than is needed, or that should be provided.
