Biden 2021 - A Mediocre Middle Ground

The media narrative right now is that no money was being raised in June, but now that Kamala has been anointed, the money is flooding in, in droves, because Kamala is 'da bestest.

I’m just saying the money has been there for democrats in general (which I guess is your point as well?), but because Joe is demented, they can tell him there’s no money for his campaign. If Joe wasn’t demented, as President and leader of the party, I 100% bet he had the power to access that money as “his”.

Not the worst look for Nancy…

Me and the boys were pretty disappointed when she didn’t pose for Playboy. We thought maybe the whole situation was all supposed to lead up to that.

not a chance they raised $81 million from ‘mostly first time donors’ . . laundering we call it, donating the max $3,300 from several different billionaires money under a bunch of different names

Easy win for Kamala coming right up!

Is this a Nancy Pelosi joke, or are you talking about Nancy Kerrigan?

I wouldn’t ever make a joke about Nancy Pelosi posing for Playboy. I have taste, good sir.

Most of my life, I’d have thought she didn’t have a good shot to win. Perhaps she wouldn’t have much excitement from the Dem base, but it really isn’t about her I don’t think. I think a lot of the US population will show up for any functioning adult the Dems put forth. Biden was kinda not functioning, so it should be a bit easier for her than Biden IMO.

The media phrase of the last 2 days: She will be able to prosecute the case against Trump.

Every fucking news source has used that line at least once.

At first I thought she had no chance, but I’m rethinking that.

It’ll be interesting to see what her platform is. A continuation of Biden, or something different.

She has the luxury of not having to compromise her platform to get through a tough primary season of attacks (ie no pandering to far left). Her candidacy has sent a jolt of excitement and interest through the non-GOP electorate.

Being a fan of history, I’ll just point out that only 2 percent of Democrats voted for Harris in the last primary.

Didn’t she come in 5th in her home state?

JD Vance called for the 25th amendment to be invoked so Kamela can become POTUS for at least the next 6months.

So she’s got pretty solid bipartisan endorsements this round. From a peculiar GOP source, I’ll give you that.

Maybe he thinks she’ll do a bad job and Trump will have an easier time winning come election time?

If only she could do for the rest of the country as she has for the border.

Gasp! Are you saying that JD Vance is rooting against America for the next 6 months?!

Make America Great Again… but let’s try and make it worse, first!

He never said she should be POTUS for 6 months.

“is it a coup against Joe Biden? Uh sort of yes I I think it is I mean look there’s a constitutional process the 25th Amendment if Joe Biden can’t run for president he can’t serve as president and if they want to take him down because he’s mentally incapable of serving invoke the 25th Amendment you don’t get to sort of do this in the most politically beneficial way for Democrats if it’s an actual problem they should take care of it in the appropriate way”

“Can anybody just admit that if Joe Biden is not fit to run for president, he ain’t fit to serve as President of the United States either?” Vance asked the crowd. “And if Kamala Harris is too blind or too corrupt to admit to the American people that Joe Biden should have never been in there, she’s not fit to serve, either. We got to get them both out of there.”

He knows they will not do it. He is just accusing the Democrats of protecting their power at the expense of their constitutional duty. It is just strategy.

Yeah. Grass roots. Bottom up, not top down. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Sure.

In the order of succession, Kamala would become President, and speaker of the house Mike Johnson becomes VP.

The 25th amendment would have been fine if Pelosi was still Speaker, but not since Dems lost majority in the House.

The party of firsts don’t want to split the white house with Reps. They’ll take their chances with the voters rather than do that.
