Biden 2021 - A Mediocre Middle Ground

5% GDP growth in the 3rd quarter

3.8% unemployemnt rate

US oil production at record levels

And it still feels like things are going all to hell. It’s pretty crazy!

A few years ago I jokingly said to the wife “Watch this bastard take credit for increasing the gdp when its actually just unmitigated inflation pushing the number.”.

Gross Domestic Product, Second Quarter 2023 (Second Estimate) and Corporate Profits (Preliminary) | U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA)(GDP,the%20Bureau%20of%20Economic%20Analysis.

So you Can say that some metrics are decreasing, and it Is True. Just like Macy’s has a sale and reduces the price by 20%, as long as you don’t consider the cost.

US domestic manufacturing and construction of new factories are up

Imports from China are down, and China is reorganizing their economy to be less connected with ours

US energy extraction is up

We’re selling more energy to Europe every month the Sanctions against Russia continue

Are these all coincidences, or part of some grand plan? Is any of this worth the cost?

We’ve been involved in wars almost nonstop for over 125 years. Even under Trump.

Trump was the first president in 18 years to not get us involved in any NEW wars

thats one of the reasons the swamp wanted him out

Not likely. The older I become the more I become disenfranchised with the pursuit of ever forward development for the sake of generating profit.

I get it, it’s the game and rules we must play by. Fine I’ll play but won’t be happy about it.

I am also tired of the American exceptionalism BS partnered with evangelical Christian nationalism. By almost every measure except economic output the US is falling further and further behind.

Trump was involved in wars however. Had he not been a one term president he would be involved in what’s going on in Israel right now. Everyone likes to think their guy will be the opposite of the current guy then it turns out he’s just the same. I mean, Biden now wants to build a wall.

So those accords reached under his watch meant nothing?

The ME crazies only respect one thing -other crazies. Weakness is the smell of raw meat to these fucking nutjobs. The only President weaker than Biden was Jimmy Carter, coincidentally I’m sure. Clear the Orange fog of politics from your brain, try results, not rhetoric. (which is funny coming from someone who constantly preaches against the “woke” narrative -guess it’s just a team thing.)

Do you believe statistics? (remember the old adage) Or the price you’re paying at the pump since Biden took office?

I’m not a rabid isolationist, but if this is true, maybe we should keep some of that energy here. Or replenish the strategic oil reserves Biden released to try to cap prices when they were first skyrocketing.

Physician, heal thyself.

Hamas makes its decisions regarding Israel based on who is the American president? Because your boy Trump is so scary to people who kill babies? To people who use their own people as human shields and pawns to reach their goal of killing every Jew on Earth?

They would prefer to have the US get more involved in this conflict, not less, as it would fuel all the existing anti American sentiment over there. Yeah, those people who have consistently attacked US targets at home and abroad for decades were really worried about Trump. They weren’t afraid of Reagan, I doubt they fear the Orange god.

This clip made me think of your point(s) of view. You rail against stuff, then you point out people whose beliefs/attitude have nothing to do with your rant, simply because you dislike those people. Or, you could be the audience, clapping because the people you dislike (or supposed to dislike) are being named, but meanwhile the actual point(s) being made have nothing to do with said people.

Nice ignore on the fact that Israel and Arab states were actually trying to or at least sounding like, they were attempting to make peace during the Trump years. And that Iran coincidentally always shows up to make trouble during times of weakness, but was oddly quiet from 2016 to 2020.

Watch the clip I posted, goofball. Results, not rhetoric.

Please point out anywhere in these forums where I say Trump is my boy. If anything, I say the opposite. Facts, not rhetoric.

I didn’t even vote for Trump in 2016; I abstained, because Hilary is Hilary, and I had the conventional Democratic opinion of Trump. But I voted for him in 2020, because results.

The Israel war with Hamas…the Ukrainian war with Russia happened under Bidens watch…not under Trumps watch

those are the facts

From the anti-Trump newspaper:

Point out anywhere I have shown an irrational hatred of Trump.

They did the same under Carter. Sorry, but I have a deep cynicism when it comes to peace in the ME.
