I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here. I wasn’t implying anything like that.
Just less if they’re wearing a mask?
Giving someone money to not spit in your food is called being extorted, not tipping.
All else being equal, yes. And if they have a choice(while remaining employed).
You might return to the restaurant another time. Having worked in them in the past, wait staff remember these things. They also get pretty good at predicting who won’t tip well, if at all.
I don’t think they see it that way. When you eat at a restaurant with wait staff, it’s seen by them as entering into a sort of social compact. Spitting in food is extreme and doesn’t happen often, it’s just a figure of speech.
I wasn’t directing that at you. I get that it looks that way. I was adding to what you were saying.
If I frequent a place I tip well (like a $10 tip on a $15 bill type thing). I see it more as an investment haha. I get so much free shit now.
No, I won’t. Even if I did, I remember too and you won’t wait on me a second time.
You should be able to easily tell if you are going to be tipped by how you act. If not, your self awareness is pretty shitty and doesn’t surprise me.
I am not anti-mask. I am anti being told what to do personally. If you want to wear 20 masks all day every day - more power to you.
I like freedom.
Yeah considering it is a serious felony.
That goes both ways. Just because you wait on me doesn’t entitle you to a tip.
Servers (not all) seem to be some of the most entitled people on earth when it comes to YOUR money for a service.
I am also not deaf to my surroundings. If you are covering tons of tables and short staffed - I am not going to hold that against you. Likewise if the kitchen fucks up my food. It is out of their control.
What about 21? Is that still okay? I’ve added one since the latest variant.
You can wear so many masks to the point where your head is anchored to the pavement for all I care.
I will laugh for sure, but I need some entertainment.
Indeed. But, then, I realize these people vote and reproduce.
I don’t think those numbers are accurate. The Marshal Plan, adjusted for inflation, was over 100 billion.
I wouldn’t know, I never waited on tables.
I don’t think they see it that way. People expect a tip when you are picking up a take out order.
Me either. I have worked at Walmart though.
They can expect all they want. Expect in one hand and shit in the other.
Tell me which one fills up faster.
I have a favorite pizza place that I always tip well. No free stuff but even on Friday or Saturday nights, Steelers games, or any other busy times the pizza is at my door in 20 min. instead of their 45-60 min. estimate.
