Biden 2021 - A Mediocre Middle Ground

This is a very silly thread.

Almost as silly as all of the Trump threads.

Maybe Joe Biden has gender dysphoria and needs to begin transitioning for his health. Fortunately he has an expert on mental and physical health in his administration to steer him in the same direction they are steering the nation’s children.

“You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.”

Hopefully, we’ll reach the tipping point soon.

I’ve noticed an uptick in masking on the street, alone in cars, etc. lately. I thought everyone was finished playing pandemic, but the True Believers seem committed.

Edit:

One can hope, but too many people doubt the power of COVID. Too many are un-and-under-vaccinated, and too many are bearing their faces.

What state do you live in? Just curious. You talk about seeing these things that, quite honestly, I don’t ever see anymore. The only people I see wearing masks in cars anymore are lyft/uber drivers, and I know lyft/uber encourage their drivers to do so. I don’t blame them for doing what they have to do to make money.

Apart from that, I see store employees, generally older employees, wearing masks sometimes. Sometimes I see it in the service industry. But it is suuuuper rare for me to see someone out on the street with a mask on.

So ya, just curious where you’re seeing this sort of thing now. Even in the most liberal city I’ve visited recently, Austin, it’s not a thing. I actually see a LOT more masks in Dallas than I do in Austin, which is something that actually surprised me. I was in Austin fairly recently, and I expected to see a lot of people masked up, because it’s such a liberal city. The opposite was true. My theory on that is, vaccine uptake is high there, and people don’t feel the need to wear masks with a highly vaccinated population. Just a guess, but I think it’s a good one.

Virginia.

Edit:

I tip a little less if they’re still playing.

If I see it more often than I saw it in 2019, it’s too much for me.

It’s not the norm in Maine anymore, but it is still plenty common.

Two weeks ago I was seated just behind our governor and some local politicians at the opening game of our new semi-pro women’s basketball team and even they didn’t have masks on. She was just there to virtue signal about supporting women’s basketball, not virtue signal about wearing masks. I imagine the guy sitting in the top corner by himself with a mask on was very disappointed in this lack of leadership from our Democrat governor.

She did not stay for the 2nd half.

I wear a mask when I am on my big diesel zero turn - especially in this dust bowl.

Does that count?

No, because you did that before The Pandemic.

Damnit, I wanted to do the thing and fit in.

Oh well, I never wore a mask during the pandemic either. I was rarely ever questioned or told to leave.

The local Stihl / mower dealer near my house did lose about a $45,000.00 sale from me though for asking me to leave and put on a mask. Their house - their rules, but now they are out of business as I also blasted it on my social media and to all my friends that spent a lot of money there.

Hey what do you expect? Borders matter, in Ukraine.

I would just like to thank you all who voted for this fool. What I really needed in my life is for the very infrastructure in which I live to collapse at the hand of radical morons who don’t know what a woman is and cannot even spell ‘Latino’.
All because you hated one guy some much, that it was worth torching the lives of 350 million just to get rid of him. Bravo. He was a tyrant after all, look how much better off we are now?
