Because he can’t get through a single scripted short speech without some inane drivel and looking completely lost.
Everyone says dumb things at times or slips up, but this is far beyond that.
It’s also worth noting that Biden has only had one media interview this year, and that was on Feb. 10.
It seems like a lot has happened since then.

Joe Biden is presently struggling to form coherent sentences fed to him via teleprompter in a live address to the nation.
Long story short, this senile buffoon is suggesting that American citizens ought to disarm themselves. He backs this notion up with a variety of falsehoods, vague narratives, and creepy-ass whispering to sell his case.
Democrats can pound sand. Your party sucks, and it sucks at historical levels. Why anyone still supports the party of slavery, segregation, race-based policies, race-based rhetoric, riots, urban decay, inflation and disastrous foreign policy escapes me.
I may even register as a Republican.
Not mediocre, not a middle ground. No questions were taken after this speech. Reporters were ushered out of the room.

Biden has been a corrupt idiot his entire political career. I really don’t know why anyone is surprised here. The dude was like last in his class in every school he attended so he went into politics. He isn’t even charismatic or a good speaker - I don’t get it.

The Biden administration is a central reason why the gas prices in the US explode. They forbid drilling on public land, they disincentivize further development of refineries and further investments into oil and gas production since their plan is to get off the fossil fuels in the near future and they disincentivize consumers from investing in oil and gas companies. They also stop pipelines from being built further disincentivizing current investments.
If you simultaneously make it harder to get to more fossil fuels and make it clear that it will only get worse in the future, the companies just don’t produce. America could easily have its prices on fuels not inflated and combated the fall out from other factors but the Biden administration deliberately did not act since they see it as a chance to change to green energy. Many Biden administration officials have uttered statements in that direction. They dont want to solve the problem.
Bad projections for the future of oil companies dampens investments and production now, this is basic economics.
The US is near the top near and way worse than EU countries and we have way more direct impact of the war on gas here.

I heard about it from a Hispanic friend of mine before I read it. His comment was “Dems don’t care about brown people”, so yeah, that is kind of where my mind went first.
There would be no Democrat outrage or grandiose platitudes from the President if this truckload of people were all gunned down, either. Unless it happened to be by a white person, of course.
There are multiple Uvalde massacres occurring on a weekly basis in Chicago and other “progressive” bastions. These are all places where Democrat policy priorities have been enacted for generations without any dastardly Republicans around to thwart their compassionate agenda.
That’s why only people who read local news know that a 5 month old baby named Cecilia Thomas was shot and killed in Chicago last weekend, along with about a dozen other people. Melissa Ortega’s name isn’t known nationally, because it turns out Democrats don’t have much use for her story either.
There’s a reason why everyone in America knows George Floyd’s name. There’s a reason why a career criminal who was a menace to the good people around him has statues erected and streets named after him. There’s a reason why we had a Chau-trial complete with the President, the media, celebrities and members of congress demanding woke mob justice, and they got it. Somehow the jury determined that Derek Chauvin decided to use his last moments of freedom to snuff out George Floyd’s life with murderous intent while being filmed from multiple angles.
Call me crazy, but I’m beginning to suspect that the party of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, the KKK, race-based policies, race-based rhetoric, urban decay, urban riots, lower standards for minorities and decriminalizing crime may not have anyone’s best interest in mind, let alone black and brown people.
