Where have I said that?
Very best wishes. I’ve had my round with it and several people close to me (not immediate family thankfully) did a lot worse, so stay healthy!
Eh… I’m going to take issue with that. Top speed records for any long or ultra distance are always male. From 50 miles to 3,100 mile transcontinental. Same for Iron Man and triathlons.
In just a day! Phenomenal! No wonder people are saying this:
The problem is that students are writing poetry before they have read poetry. Since she majored in sociology this makes that even more true.
Thanks all for the well wishes. Two of my loved ones have had this thing. The first barely had a complaint. The latest, on the other hand is having some rough symptoms. Like a really bad flu with some chest tightness, deep fatigue, and a loss of smell/taste. I am quarantined for a second time to care for her. Two cases in this house and so far I’ve managed to dodge it. Hoping that luck doesn’t run out.
Well hoping for the best on everything and that you can continue to dodge and the family recover.
Yes, that is true, but a male body on female hrt haven’t set any records that beat female times in say the marathon. You want low body weight in those events, and a male frame makes one a bit heavier, and the hrt makes it really hard to support that extra weight.
Fwiw kroc thinks endurance sports are fair for trans women. Separate divisions is logically the best path forward IMO.
I don’t know about that - you’re likely correct but there’s not enough of a sample size at the elite level to even make a guess about whether that will hold up. My guess is no, since power output is linked to muscle mass and also nutrient status determined partly through genetic development (iron status and hemoglobin/O2 transport etc.), with biological males having a greater advantage on both. I’m not convinced transition hormones do enough to kill off the muscle and power added during the years of “maleness”. Or the differences in nutrient status.
I think separate divisions is the best idea at present.
That was quick. Expecting some of the “endless wars” to get busy in the coming months.
That’s a fair position. One I take as well. I do think it is a reasonable possibility that it is fair in stuff like marathon, but only a reasonable possibility. I’m not convinced that it is fair.
Fox isn’t going to let OAN and Newsmax take them without a fight. All the old hits are coming back. Beware of the brown people thousands of miles away!
Thai is why I don’t watch news. I can’t stand the bullshit from “mostly peaceful” coverage to blatantly pandering
I’m sure you could watch news WHILE eating, if you really wanted.
I could, but I don’t want to. I have many sources to read from if I need.
Long article but interesting read. There’s a couple paragraphs that kinda irritated me but I think it’s a pretty thorough history.
Where we go from here is anybody’s guess.
I would think it more difficult to enjoy Thai while reading than while watching television, but to each his own.
The swamp is back in business baby!
They never left lol, just changed names around
The funny thing about the whole swamp business is that the presidents usually have nothing to do with it and can’t do anything about it. Congress controls the purse strings so to blame a president for the swamp or to think he can do anything about it is silly. You want to drain the swamp? It’s called voting.
The swamp stuff is stupid anyways. While I would support term limits (though they shouldn’t be needed) someone being in a job for a long time is not necessarily a bad thing. Corruption is a bad thing, but that isn’t any less likely to happen with an “outsider” vs an “insider.” Once someone’s in they have an equal chance of abusing power.
Besides didn’t we just have an “outsider” who was going to drain the swamp but instead profited off the Presidency funneling money through his properties and children and inspiring a riot on the capitol? All because he lost an election and couldn’t deal?
