I have some rings hanging from a tree outside my door. i weigh 220lbs and my max pullups are 6 on most days. based on your prescribed sets i am going to assume pull ups will work great for this for me.
question: should i order some elastic bands to lighten the load or is going to failure and using rest time sufficient as long as i hit the reps (ie just wait longer)
1,2 use band
3-6 strict form
6-9 kipping if needed, can hang weight
10 use band
vs
1,2 fresh
3-6 40 sec rest
6-9 rest as long as needed
10 take as much time as needed to complete set
Interested in this myself and will probably do it as soon as I change my regimen again
At 6ā4ā and 235 I still only have BB guns just over 16ā
Was thinking straight bar curls would be my curl of choice, but have rings as well so Iām thinking
