These felt pretty good tonight, though I can pretty consistently feel myself get a little too far forward with the bar coming out of the bottom; I need to work on that. It’s time to switch back to sets of 5, now, and build up with a little more volume.

Bench press felt pretty damn good tonight. Moving back to sets of 5 for a while; it feels like we may be making progress. I think progress for me right now looks more like raising the floor, versus raising the ceiling. The strict presses also felt really good tonight. They felt easier than last week, at the same weight (or a little more). I’ll call that progress.

I did this workout fasted and in the morning again. A lot of my workouts might be that way this week. My wife and I are looking after a local families farm while they’re away on vacation, so my schedule will be all messed up. I need to be there to do the feeding in the morning, and the feeding/milking in the evening. Luckily, the milking is just one goat, so it only needs done once a day.
