Thanks @throwawayfitness!

I was pretty knackered after that workout on Monday so I skipped any conditioning. I had a few minutes between work and ballroom dancing lessons with my wife, so I sneaked in a conditioning session, taking cues from my internet buddies @SvenG, @throwawayfitness, @simo74, @T3hPwnisher and probably others who are good at working in conditioning around the rest of their life. Plus the dancing is a surprising amount of cardio…(I love my wife)
5 bxrpees + 5 chin-ups EMOM FOR 10 minutes
To be honest, by the end the chin-ups were getting pretty ragged. But the effort was there, so I’ll count it.

Awesome squats dude!
My wife would be supremely jealous of this. She’s been asking me to take salsa lessons with her for a while now… Furthest I’ve made it is to Zumba a few times.
Thank you, sir!
I figure dancing lessons is the least I can do considering all of the dumb, crazy stuff to which she’s tagged along with me. Also, it turns out I’m very good at dancing. Who knew?

Meh. Got the work done. Bench press day is always disappointing. It’s the only thing that reminds me there may still be some small part of me that is human.

Lately I’ve been doing single-arm rows with a landmine setup. I think I’ve seen them called Meadows Rows, but I’m positive I don’t follow that technique exactly, so I wouldn’t call them that. The name is irrelevant, actually. The point is, they’re blowing up my middle back. Hopefully they translate to some more deadlift gains.

sounds like a @TrainForPain workout
Even in the right order!
Ha. Most likely, not. Just my efforts to, at least, look like I lift.

Very very nice work mate. I deff need to work harder
Thank you, sir. But blechh. These were down quite a bit from my previous week. I’m eating in a deficit and pretty low carb (for me) throughout the day. That may be catching up with me during training. Shouldn’t be much longer, though, as I’m dropping weight like crazy.
I don’t really worry if my squat isn’t going up every week. Strength comes from an accumulation of work over time. There is a point for me where any work done over a certain weight is always going to add up to something good.
Agreed for sure. It’s just frustrating when you have a really good week followed by one that’s not quite as good. I’m still progressing, though, so no worries.

The deadlifts and the walk had my lower back pretty fried, but the bench and the dips gave me a stellar chest pump. So I’d say it was a wash.
