Better Calorie Surplus from Fats or Carbs?

I know you should have a caloric surplus when trying to gain mass. But, what would be better to add the surplus in, healthy fats or complex carbs?

It depends on your training and your total macro split.

Also depends on if your adding cardio and your body type (if you handle carbs well)

It’s going to be easier to add more calories from fats since the are 9cal/g and carbs are 4cal/g I believe.

As everybody else said, it depends on your body type and what your exact goals are, how your body responds to carbs etc.

I’ve done the tblspoons of olive oil before when adding extra calories.
