as a side note: Iām even on the single-payer side of the argument as he is. Just for very, very different reasons. You know, the good reasons that can at least be supported by evidence.

Ya, and thatās the ironic part. Generally, I am opposed to additional government programs as a rule, but healthcare is a very different beast than most things. Do I think Single-payer could work here? Yes. Do I think it would be better than what we have? Perhaps. Likely some things would be better and some worse.
All Iāve ever wanted is an honest assessment of single-payer and a legitimate means to fund the program. Thatās really it and he canāt provide it. Itās always just nonsense.
Same with medical marijuana. I support legalizing it for recreational use so why on earth would I not support itās use medically? I simply want it to go through the same thorough testing that every treatment goes through so consumers can make an educated choice. But, that makes me a Big Pharm shill apparently.

If the answer is a āperhapsā in regards to single-payer working better than a for-profit healthcare system then list the successes here. I will save you some time by telling you they donāt exist. So there is no āperhapsā. It is not an open question.
Funding single-payer comes from the raising of taxes. Oh no, he used a Republican boogeyman phrase. But unlike the corporate shills I will give you the other side of the coin. You will save money as you no longer have to pay the monthly premiums(private taxes) Not to mention peopleās lives will not be financially destroyed by having to go through a medical bankruptcy.
