Not sure where you may have gotten your degree from but I do know it was from a place that demanded you swallow the blue pill with a large glass of Kool-Aid and ate with a side of “freedom fries”.

Bahahaha. See, it’s getting fun again. A side of “freedom fries” who talks like that?

Yes a dunce for sure. Someone who backs the most popular contemporary politician and can see the evidence when it screams directly in his face. But most others on here are enlightened because they blindly follow the status quo. Good work! Since you don’t normal respond to my posts, it would be nice if you continued that sentiment as you will have nothing to offer but right-wing talking points.

Yes I agree. Your cliché right-wing talking points have been so thoroughly disproved that it is boring to watch you disregard evidence so you can avoid admitting your political philosophy is absolute trash.

Yes that’s exactly right.

Let’s wrap this thread up, shall we? Please tell me if I’ve misunderstood you.

Don’t listen to doctors, scientists or PhD level researchers who’ve spent years diligently studying the important details required to understand the totality of the subject matter at hand. Those fuckers are are all in the pocket of Big Pharma.

Do listen to Zep. Because he’s read and has common sense.

Follow the links, accept what they say as fact but don’t worry about who is getting paid and why. Look over there! Its BIG PHARMA! Those fuckers are out to get you!!!

Did I get anything wrong?

So even if they are unscrupulous, does that mean they all are? Is no one doing positive work in this field with results on people? And wow the FDA, partners, with Big Pharma are cracking down to make way for speedier approvals for “legitimate therapies” In reality they are slowing down or stopping this therapy from coming to market to help protect profits for Big Pharma.

Practitioners who are charging for treatments that have no compelling, data-based evidence of efficacy are unscrupulous, yes.

BTW, it’s ironic that you are so damning of ‘Big Medicine’ for putting profits ahead of pt welfare, when that is exactly what these stem-cell clinics do.

I’m not saying that there are not unscrupulous doctors out there who need to be shut down but to claim it is a very dangerous therapy when tens of thousands of people every year are being helped by it is absolutely ridiculous. There is a reason why this therapy has been delayed in the U.S. and it has nothing to do with safety. Look at the track record of The Stem Cell Institute in Panama. Originally started by a doctor/clinician from the U.S. who was tired of playing around with the FDA and their onerous regulations and the equally ridiculous cost of clinical trials which he could not afford. The cost is loved by Big Pharna so they can keep competition out.

On what basis can you (or anyone) make the claim that “tens of thousands of people every year are being helped by it”? To my knowledge, such claims are entirely anecdotal. And respectfully, I have to point out that the plural of anecdote is not ‘data.’ To be taken seriously, such claims have to be study-based. So where are the studies? Forget FDA approval (and the requisite RCTs) for the moment. At this point, I’ll take a large case series provided it’s well-done.

You yourself have admitted that at least some stem-cell providers are unscrupulous. Given that such providers are out there, absent compelling clinical evidence to support the claims being made, how do you know which claims (and therefore practitioners) are unscrupulous?

He doesn’t understand this. He will never understand this.

right wing talking points? LOL. I know I don’t often post here. But the people who know me from this forum know I’m anything but conservative.

Now that’s some funny sh*t there, son!

So if tens of thousands of people are being helped by stem cells - it doesn’t count because it is lacking in some clinical trials? Pathetic! So I suppose all of those people who claim to be helped by medical marijuana are just lying or living in a fantasyland? Where are the clinical studies for marijuana? In your world results don’t count unless there is a clinical trial behind it. I say let the people choose and they are by going out of this country to get help.

The diseases and conditions successfully treated by adult stem cells, as shown by published scientific evidence, continue to expand, with published success for numerous cancers, spinal cord injury, heart damage, multiple sclerosis, sickle cell anemia, and many others. What? I thought that treating a wide variety of diseases with stem cells is what hucksters claim.

More from some hucksters. Stem Cell Therapy for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Treatment

Can’t currently find the article that documents that 47,000 people have been helped with stem cell treatment for their eyes. However, people want to use the information of 3 people who went blind (actually 1 went blind) to deny this treatment to everyone. Really? That is their best argument against allowing people to try this therapy. What do you tell the tens of thousands of people who have been helped?

Given that such providers are out there, absent compelling clinical evidence to support the claims being made, how do you know which claims (and therefore practitioners) are unscrupulous? They do research like anyone else. Why should they NOT be given the choice?

Good grief

No it is you who doesn’t understand and never will unless you recognize the level of brainwashing that has been done on you.

Tell me, where are all the clinical trials on medical marijuana? And to think that people are actually claiming to be helped by it. The poor fools don’t realize that results aren’t real unless a clinical trial confirms it.
