y’all sure do spend a lot of time arguing with a complete dunce. I’m surprised so many of you guys give Zep the time of day. The stuff he says just isn’t even interesting. I can’t imagine responding to this idiocy over and over again, it’s just the same shit reiterated ad nauseum.

Woke Forest ahahahahaha!

Fyi, I’m stealing that for sure.

It has lost its flavor recently. It used to be somewhat entertaining on a boring day. Not so much anymore.

Take a shot every time some agrees with OP. Better than Jewbacca’s hangover cure.

Do doctors control the business or do the people they work for? How much of their schooling is funded and/or influenced by Big Pharma?

What am I hoping to achieve? The posts and links to videos are there for people who have seen what a racket the healthcare system is and believe that we need to look beyond a profit-based healthcare system for something better.

My credentials are that I read and have common sense. What are yours?

I read. Try reading a corporations charter to see what it is run for.

By and large, doctors are 100% in charge of how they treat pts. Of course, there’s always the possibility that a pt’s insurance won’t pay for a given recommended treatment plan–in fact, it happens all the time. That said, no one would have to get permission from an ins co to implement a ketogenic diet, so there are no bureaucratic barriers to implementing this treatment.

If there was any such influence, it is done so subtly as to be undetectable at a conscious level.

Speaking for myself, the only conscious influence of Big Pharma that I have ā€˜succumbed to’ is that I am biased to prescribe glaucoma drops from those companies that are willing to give me lots of free samples. (My clinic has a very large number of glaucoma pts who are too poor to afford their drops, so we give them drops if/when we have them.)

Fair enough.

That’s not a credential.

I’m not the one giving terrible healthcare advice and arguing with doctors and researchers.
