For the Friday/Saturday workouts for weeks 4-6, do you do the rest/pause on the prep sets too? Or just the working set?
If yea for prep sets, the prep sets would be 6 reps, rest, then 6-8 more? You wouldn’t want to take the prep sets to a rep within failure would you?
I wondered this as well, but then I looked al little closer. If you look at the descriptions for the previous workouts they will say to do the rep style (4 second eccentric on every rep for example) on prep sets as well. The description for the rest/pause weeks does not say to do rest/pause on the prep sets. Plus I think it would be too much volume+intensity if you were to do it on the prep sets because you would be doing a lot of reps, like 12 or more reps on the first set before taking the pause to do a real rest/pause set. Thats my thoughts.
