No, but that really isn’t the point which continues to elude you.

Point understood. This is a discusion about whey protein. Not everyone has used Grow!.
Understanding your point, the author should have made the subject read “Best whey protein, but only mention Grow!”?? I don’t think that what he was looking for and as far as getting info from this site, yes it is informative but who’s to say myself or the rest of us haven’t contributed some useful information, making the web site even that much more valuable??
I appreciate the free web-site and all the good information as I am sure we all do. If the company stands by the Grow! product as I am sure it does and really thinks it is the best product then they should have no problem with it being discussed and compared to different products. No need for censorship.
SPEAK FREELY!

I’ll say it. You have 26 posts to your credit. Your contribution to the site has been minimal.
The poster who posted this:
"I buy the cosco stuff also and it’s working well for me. 19.99 for 6 pounds and I haven’t noticed any problems with it. I’m adavancing in weight lifted and in size.
It’s good give it a try."
Has 17 posts under his belt.
Now you may be Eistein and fucking Carl Sagan but there is little evidence of it as yet.
To mention other products you have used and your opinion of them is one matter.
To come on this site, to the supplement forum, acknowledge that you haven’t even tried the products offered here, and direct people to Costco is tacky and classless.
If you’d like I can use caps and insert some dashes between the letters so you can read slower.

I’ve made 27 posts. I’ve told 7 people of this site because I thought it has some useful info on it. Who knows who they have relayed this site info to. If one of those people buy ANYTHING from this site, then it’s far more beneficial to this company than people who post 100 times a week and criticize posts that don’t appeal to their train of thought like yourself.
A guy says he gets his stuff at Costco… BFD… People can create their own opinion based on what they hear. Maybe it will sway people to use Grow!. Maybe you’re like a sheep. I write it down and you’ll mindlessly go do it. If that’s the case READ THIS, “Log off and quite wasting my time”.

Ahahahahaha!
You’ve told 7 people, eh? Do you have a special log for keeping track of that, Rainman?
Anyhoo, thank you for using your 27th post to further illustrate my point.
If you are looking for strictly whey protein, I would suggest Protein Factory. Tastes better than ON but I use it primarily for mixing in my morning oatmeal.
I love Low-Carb Grow! but as mentioned it’s a little expensive if that’s all you use. Generally I mix one scoop of Grow! and one scoop of Optimum Nutrition’s ‘Just Whey’ which is also very low in carbs, tastes good and mixes well. This also allows for some greater variety in flavors, a scoop of chocolate Whey and Banana Grow! is great, the Banana Grow! mixes great with chocolate, vanilla or straberry. Good stuff.

Thanks for responding, further padding my evidence towards your already weak premise. Economics 101. Try reading it.
To the people who have to mix their cheap protein with one like Grow!, give the cheap shit the boot and eat a food that is dense in protein. That way you save money on the cheap shit and get the benefits of real protein. Why waste money on an inferior whey, when you could eat eggs or tuna and get the full benefits of protein, but cheaper. If you are going to pay for whey, buy the good shit, or else just burn the money because that is what you do when you buy a cheap shit protein.

There are several quality proteins on the market. I won’t list them because I don’t want to waste my time again debating about it. Gro! is only available thru internet and not everyone wants to buy off the net. I’m sure Grow! is a quality product but it’s not as easily available as going to the corner health store.

My point is to save up and buy the high quality whey or use the money for the discount whey to buy more food. Discount protein is just cheap. That’s it. It makes the people buying it feel good because it says whey and it costs less.

Dude. You’re just as stupid as she is.
Here’s something for you to deal with.
She’s not going to lay you either way.
Stick to the subject, Hero Boy.

Going around calling people stupid will go a long way toward getting people to lose respect for your opinion.
This kind of behavior is usually an indication that you don’t have anything of value to say.
Some of the people from this site seem upset that someone would come on here and recommend a cheaper protein. I think you’re crazy getting upset at it - all that will happen is people might go and try the cheaper protein, realise it is shite, and come back in force to Metabolic Drive.
I’m no protein expert but I have tried a lot of brands and have the advantage that my body knows - really knows, and really fast - if something is quality or not.
Metabolic Drive is bloody good stuff. It’s also the only one yet that tastes good in water alone. And yet isn’t too sweet (a lot of American brands are just way too sweet).
I mix it with sparkling mineral water. It froths up like a vanilla spider.
I would like to see a cheaper version of Metabolic Drive without the casein, for bulk useage. That’d be great. Sure it might be only a few bucks cheaper but it would be used IN BULK. I’m sure others would go for it too.
Part of the problem here, I think, is that a lot of us use protein powder to make protein bars and other stuff. Whereas I can justify the price of Grow!/Metabolic Drive for straight-up drinking, I can’t justify the price to put in all the stuff I bake. So for that I use a cheaper whey protein bought in bulk.
I’d rather spend my money on quality products than crap like ON.
lets hear an explaination…
Speaking of the V diet, how is it going for you?
Proteinpowda wrote:
Ok let me do some math here…
The protein I buy at Costco is about $3/lb. I go through about one/week usually. That’s $20 a week.
I would have to use 3 Grows! For this.
$50week * 52/weeks/year = $2600 year extra. That’s larger than the average grocery bill in America.
I’m not going to lie; I love Grow!. I use it during the V-diet but I’m not a white-collar worker yet…
