I’m at work right now on a soundless computer and I can still give an exact play-by-play. HE’S ON FIRE!

You’re welcome. Loved this game when I was younger.
That game is hard as fuck. I remember renting it in the 8th grade and getting so frustrated that I couldn’t get past the first level I took it back in a day. I just got the genesis hits game for my 360 and it’s still hard as fuck. I haven’t been able to beat the boss in the second level and I’ve tried probably 5 times.
Agreed. I have 10 plus years of Video game experience and this game still gives me trouble.
It’s really frustrating. It’s too bad, 'cause if they had made it a little more user friendly it probably would be better remembered and possibly remade. It’s a great and unique idea for a game, and I’m sure they could do some sick shit with todays systems.
This thread is awesome, seeing all these old video games is like finding your old porn collection and looking back at the classics.
The Metal Gear series has some of the most epic music in my opinion.
I don’t know why people love Mega Man 2 so much. I think the music is level with that of most games while the Wily level theme is very memorable and has birthed many remixes. I think it is, however, beaten by the 1st Wily level theme of MM7 of SNES.
When it comes to PC games, I can’t think of anything as memorable as Doom 1 and 2 and I think a sizable percentage would agree.
Someone posted ocremix.org which is a good site. I would also recommend Overlooked Remix for failed and parody remixes (often with vocals) of vg tunes.

Crazy talk, Sonic music is the best music!
this argument is pointless. everybody knows that zelda had the best soundtrack. no other games can compare
Needs more metal gear!
in my opinion Heroes of Might and Magic 3 has some of the best music period. the fact that it’s in a video game is just a bonus. here’s a taste.
here are a few more. this music is so awesome I actually found it all online and downloaded so I didn’t have to play the game to hear it.
My friend is the composer for the Total War games, specifically Empire and Napoleon. Full orchestral scores with an 88 piece orchestra and a 44-piece choir. Next time I might be able to go to one of the recording sessions.

…possibly the greatest game of all time too
EDIT: …why is embedding not working

I`d have to say kingdom hearts 1 and 2 at the time when i played them i loved the music that went along in certain parts
