Just a quick question on when to Clean Carb Refeed vs Dropping Calories or Adding more Power Walking to kick start my metabolism again continuing the fat loss process. How do you determine between the two to kick start the fat loss metabolism process?
FYI- Ive been at 175g carbs for 4 weeks 225g protein 60g fat (2,000 - 2,100 calories) and weight scale has slowed and energy is ok, not great but not terrible.
I don’t really understand the question. Refeeding is not in the same category at all as cutting calories or adding cardio. The former might prevent metabolic slow down (it won’t kick start it, but it can prevent it from dropping down, which can occur when you diet for a long time) and while the later can create a larger deficit, it certainly will not have a positive impact on metabolic rate.
Just so I can use for future reference, what signs should I look for when introducing a clean carb refeed?
Currently my strength is still going up and I feel good, not drained or anything, still have morning glory so test is still strong.
