I believe I may have created the absolute tastiest protein shake in all of human history, so I thought I would share it with you.
First thing in the morning when I brew my pot of coffee, I make about two cups extra. I pour that two cups into the blender as soon as it is done, where it can begin cooling while I am drinking my hot coffee, showering, etc. Before I walk out the door, the coffee in the blender should be cool, so I add two scoops of chocolate Grow!, 4 ice cubes, and 1 Tbsp heavy cream.
This mocha protein shake tastes so freakin’ good you won’t believe it. It is still very good if you leave out the cream, but with the cream it is amazing.
Enjoy.

Xen, I assume you are talking about Classic Grow!, no? This is a tasty combination, although I’ve never had it with added dextrose. Oddly though, mixing orange juice with Low-Carb Grow! is not tasty AT ALL. For some reason, when I tried this, it tasted like the unflavored Designer Whey in OJ (I used this combination a long time ago). There must be something in the orange juice that inhibits one of the flavoring agents in Low-Carb Grow!.
Of course, that is just my experience. We’re all different. Some people think Surge is disgusting; whereas, I want to train twice daily just so I can have two Surges…
I forgot to mention that this recipe uses Low-Carb Grow! I don’t know if using Classic Grow! would affect the taste, but Terumo’s post made me realize I should specify.
Anyway, let me reiterate how good this shake tastes. And not just in a ‘good for a protein shake’ kind of way.
1/2 litre of near frozen dry white wine, a cup of lime tonic water and dash of Cassis does for me. I’ve made no noticeable muscle gains on this but it sure tastes good and the world looks a much better place. Well it did until I lost my job and my wife left me for a fitness instructor. You lot are my best mates, I love you.
Maybe not… Am currently chilling a cup of coffee to try that first recipe though - it had better be good or you owe me big time.
