Best Injection site for PED's

Injecting into glute is difficult unless you’ve a mate or partner to insert. I have found my right quad to be receptive but need to alternate obviously. Also when you go into the muscle trying to avoid touching a vein can be challenging. Any specific technique I could use? Also when body fat reduces veins are more noticeable and more difficult to avoid!?

I use my right and left vastus lateralis. So basically the outside of your thigh/quad. It has much lower amount of blood vessels, especially the deep larger ones and less arteries. Its the number 1 place they do shots on all infants and toddlers. It also spans a pretty large are from knee to hip where you can kind of move around spots slightly. I would NOT go anywhere else in my quad but the vastus lateralis. And i use 27gauge 1 inch needle. And i cant even feel the 27gauge going in and the 1 inch is deep enough to where i dont have pain the next few days. If i do a superficial shot with like 1/2 in or 5/8 in needle it sometimes hurts for 1-2 days

Deltoid is ok if small amounts. Less than 1 ml for sure.
Most medical books say ventrogluteal is great too but i have like next to no muscle in that spot.

Cheers…appreciate it

Yeah. I actuall loved glute. Hit the ciatic one time and that was pleasant. I now use quad, just like the guy above outside third. I have never drawn back blood, but i have coughed a few times after injections, lmao, so maybe i hit something i wasnt supposed to.

I alternate left and right whether i am on glute or quad. When scar tissue was pretty bad on glute i moved to quad. I am starting to feel scar tissue now on quads, so may give them a break and move back to glutes
