As much as I hate to say it, Howard Dean with his entourage of new wav-liberals looks like he’s in the lead.
Dennis Kucinich definitely makes the best candidate ideologically, but when it comes to chances of actually winning he’s right up there with Al Sharpton.
With a seven way split no matter who wins the primary is going to have a hard time amassing the fickle Democratic vote for the presidency.
Any thoughts on who you wish to come out on top come the Primary (albeit far away)?
Al Sharpton. He would create the world’s biggest landslide victory for GW.
I am only 16 and I don’t know a ton about politics, but it doesn’t take a genious to figure out the democratic party is pretty damn weak. I would have loved to see Bush vs. Gore round 2, but o well.
How are they new wave? They are spouting the same rhetoric they always have. Class warfare and big government.
they are new wave in the fact that they are circa 1960’s ‘i’m obviously a socialist, but i run as a democrat to have a chance at getting in office’.
Goldberg for President!
Goldberg for President!
first order of business: ban curling in the squat rack
Nuff said!!!
They are new wave in that they don’t care about traditional democratic values.
The followers of Dean have one uniting opinion, that being against the war on Iraq and the man who started it George Bush.
These people don’t care about unions, don’t care about civil rights, don’t care about education or the now nearly non-existent welfare. That is to say they are not real radicals. They are whiners.
Sergius, “or the now nearly non-existent welfare.”
OMG this is too funny…
lolol
Thanks, you just made my day. Someone actually thinking that welfare is nearly non existant…
How could all of the democrats that were for the war suddenly be against the war? I have the quotes that implicate all of them ass big, fat ass liers.
Hopefully we will hear something from the Wesley Clark camp this week. He is supposed to announce whether or not he will run after this weekend. HE will be a strong candidate. In fact, he would defeat Bush no matter how much money they could raise. If he runs remember that I predicted this as well… The Bush camp would NEVER let Bush get into an open debate with Clark. Clark would take him apart. I think that they are really afraid that he will run, because he will get the democratic vote as well as a lot of republican votes. He has great crossover appeal.

Antiliberal-
During the presidency of Clinton, a little program called AFDC was cancelled. AFDC was welfare. It was replaced with TANF-temporary assisstance to needy families, a state run program funded by federal block grants. Welfare is defacto non existent.

Hey Avoids, after the Tawana Brawley fiasco how could
anyone take the “Reverend of Al-Repute” seriously!
Trying to post another pic… hope it works this time.
Wesley Clark is a lieing liberal. did you know that after 9/11 he claimed that “someone close to the white house” called him and asked him to lie about events leading up to 9/11. later he recanted and said it was someone from a canadian thinktank. Later a prominent canadian thinktanker said that no one up there was running any such type of thinktank. Turns out Clark made the whole thing up. Seems he was made in the mold of good ole Bill Clinton.
I cant believe you even mentioned Wesley Clark.
Goldberg, so you think Bush has never lied?
Sure the nytimes noted that he actually ‘believed’ Iraq has WMD’s, but since when is stupidity an excuse?
Or what about that he’s for balancing the budget? The country is forecasting the biggest budget deficit this side of FDR.
Sergius, what on earth are you on?
Yes AFDC was replaced by TANF, but it’s far from non existant. It is just a program similar to AFDC except more safeguards against scams and lifetime users.
Still has an annual budget in the 150+ million range, far from non existant.
Also you do realize that TANF is but one of the programs that the admin for children and families has under their umbrella.
That is the federal welfare, states also have their own programs which are usually much larger in funding.
Sergius i can quote every single democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and Al Gore saying that they KNEW Iraq had WMD’s. Whats your point?
