That would be fuckin sweet
Which one you mean?
Yu Yu Hakusho.
Just watched a couple of new ones. New to me at least.
The first is Psycho Pass. Futuristic world where society is run by a system which decides what role would give you the happiest life. People are constantly assessed, reading their “Psycho Pass”, to measure stress. Too much and you get quarantined for therapy, and there are also those identified as latent criminals. No crime committed, you are just too much of a risk. So you get locked away. So the police work with some of these latent criminals to catch bad guys since they can’t risk raising their stress or criminal level. Seems complicated but it works. Tense, violent, bleak as far as control of the people goes. It’s completed but they could have continued on, but leaves you with as good an ending as any Japanese anime. Here’s the opening to give you a taste.
The second is Aku No Hana or Flowers of Evil after the Baudelaire volume of poetry. A weird little one that is actually much better in the manga, which I went back and read after watching since so much was left open. It’s also rotoscoped which I always find a bit creepy. Story is about a bookworm guy obsessed with one of his classmates. One night after school, he returns to get a book he forgot and ends up stealing her gym clothes. Turns out another girl saw him do it and starts blackmailing him. Think psychological torture. Anyway, the end theme will give you a feeling for the disturbing nature. You will see what I mean about needing to go read the manga by the end since they give preview scenes of events you won’t see as the anime is done
I never thought I’d want to read any manga. The thought of it turns my stomach. But after finishing Berserk anime I’m like “goddammit they practically force you to read what happens next”.
Fucking insane show though. Got very Japanese and fucked up at the end. That dude is like the ultimate badass though. Should have been called “The Adventures of Guts and a bunch of other people who are total shit compared to him”.

Vinland Saga is an excellent read. You should check it out next.

Unfortunately the manga is no where near being fucking done, or answering any questions the anime brought up. Oh, and it is only published a couple times a year so I highly doubt it will end any time soon.
With that being said I read every chapter and love it. Shit gets even crazier than what happened in the anime.

And for those of you who enjoyed the Rurouni Kenshin live action flick, the sequel is coming out this August. Here’s a trailer.
You never let me down MrZsasZ lol!
Hah, if you like that, then you will be happy to know that they will be releasing not one, but TWO sequels this year. So instant trilogy. I would actually not mind a prequel to this story showing him in his bloodthirsty days…
I am going to say thank you for this one. You need to pay attention at the start as the time frame jumps back and forth but great animation style and the story is quite interesting. And yes, you will want to swing a sword with two fingers. Not finished yet but very nice at this point.
And based on you liking this and Ninja Scroll, you will want to check out Basilisk. Closer to Ninja Scroll but has the idea of rivalry. Story is about two warring clans of ninja who have held a truce, even to the point where the heads of the clans are to be married. When the powers that be decide to use them to decide the next shogun(I think), they are set against each other. Each clans has members with unique powers, tragic in the end, recommend highly.
I’ve always had a faint memory of a movie I saw as a child… something about giant beetles. Well, I finally found it as an adult: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

And for those enjoying Shingeki no Kyojin, principal photography hasn’t started on the live actions yet, but here is something to get you salivating.
Haha I have seen this before, thanks for the links MrZsasz!\
Btw who is that in your avatar? I always think it is aquaman or something for some odd reason haha

Hah, nope not Aquaman. It’s actually Mr.Zsasz. Pic is from the Knightfall storyline when Bane breaks all the nutjobs out of Arkham. Here is a better pic of him.
Dude this movie is like re living my childhood rorouni kenshin escapades… I was obsessed with it alongside DBZ, Inuyasha, and Yu Yu Hakashou when I was like 10 or 11 lol.
