Berardi GSP's Nutritionist?

According to this article, Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, News, Finance, Sports, Shopping, Entertainment, Video , it states that “John Berrerdi of Toronto” (I assume it’s Berardi and just a typo) is helping GSP gain lean muscle and coordinating his meals. Thought T-Nation would find this pretty cool.

That’s pretty awesome. Congrats to both of them… that team will be good.

Yeah I heard him say it in an interview, suppoedly he’s put on some muscle hmmmmmm now why would he be doing that (Anderson Silva anyone).

UFC dot com has about a 50 minute Q&A with GSP up the other day before the event in Manchester. He spoke about this quite a bit going into long, intelligent detail about putting on more lean muscle mass cleanly. Mainly speaking of putting it on the right way, keep his body healthy and how far he can go before he can’t cut back down to his weight class. It was all very interesting.

Remember a few years ago when Spike (the Biotest energy supplement) was sponsoring a bunch of athletes. I remember it was a bunch of track cyclists and gsp. I wasn’t really following the UFC at the time, but the article they did on him portrayed him as a relative unknown. Funny how things go.

Could be Anderson, or it could be he’s preparing for guys like Anthony Johnson. Personally I don’t think GSP can close the distance and take Anderson down, and I don’t see him out striking Anderson. I’d bet Anderson, root GSP.

On a side note, I’d love to see more of GSP’s training.

This is the reason I watch UFC and am a big GSP fan. When I first joined this site, I saw Biotest sponsored GSP, and didn’t know him (or many UFC fighters) at the time. Started watching, became a fan of GSP, got hooked on UFC, now GSP is a superstar. Great for him.

+1 for Berardi working with GSP. It can only make him better.
