Great progress op. You look so much better leaner.
In 2008/2009, I weighed over 95kg. Looked shit, felt like shit. Fast forward to now (78.4 kg, 9.8% bf), and I’m leaner and stronger than I’ve ever been, with very few aches and pains to affect my training. I’m getting leaner and stronger by the day, with new veins appearing all the time. People are commenting on how good I look, which gives me such a boost considering I always think I am fat.
There is no turning back now. Not for any reason. I’d say the only downside is having to buy loads of new clothes!

thanks for the support !
our stories are similar, even the kgs are nearly the same :))
buying new clothes is bad, not being able to wear your ex-favorite clothes is even worse :))
While dieting down, did you ever had deal with hunger?

i always stayed within the 6-10 rep range for upper body.
for lower body i used 12-20 rep range.
first 2-3 weeks of diet was a mental war. after that, i got used to it.
you really dont know how much junk you actually eat until you completely stop eating them.
Looking good! Yes, it’s insane how much more badass you can look when smaller and leaner. I’ve dropped a bit of weight recently in spite of the holidays and have gone back to wearing tank tops in the gym. It’s just narcissism; I think I look a bit freaky in the mirror when doing certain movements such as bent-over rows and I like checking myself out.
Are you at your target weight now?
thanks guys! i appreciate the support, it means a lot.
i weighed 76,5 kgs this morning.
there are only two things i changed lately.
i try to minimize the consumption of man made carbs. i focus on fruits, vegetables, beans and lentils as my carb source.
after clay hyght’s latest article i started doing hiit cardio + low intensity steady cardio back to back. 18 mins hiit on treadmill + 10 mins on elliptical roller.
