Wow,im surprised by the amount of Houstonians here on this forum. I though it was just me,Professor X,and DJHT. Btw,spot on with the post,Whiteflash. And thats only the Southside of Houston. Northside is full of Bros and Kickers. To bad there arent many cool clubs or bars around here though.
I’m not too familiar with anything outside of Houston “proper”. Man, don’t know how old you are or how long you’ve been here but I dated a bartender at Joia [Gallant Knight now] in '05 and a bartender at Crome [Now Pravada] in '06 and going to Diem for the first time the other day was like a douchbag reunion.
It was all the same people doing all the same shit, they just all looked a little more worn out. Went with a couple of buddies that bartend at Sanctuary. Haven’t dated a “club bartender” in probably 2+ years and I don’t miss that industry AT ALL. Whereabouts in Houston are you?

I live on the Northside. My neighborhood is inside the loop but right on the edge,like where Beltway 8 meets West Road. I tell people “Jersey Village” just to make it simple. I know a girl in my Major thats a Bartender and the way her hours are and what she goes through makes me feel bad for her so I cant even imagine having to date one.

I remember one time I was going down to the West End on the Dart with some friends on a group of people asked to borrow a phone when he clearly had one in his hand. We said no and when we got off at our stop his group promptly jumped my best friend when we got into a parking lot. I wasn’t having it and went absolutely nuts on these fellas. Only stopped because one of those ‘gangstas’ had a knife and I didn’t want anybody in our group to get stabbed

I been there. It IS pretty awesome. I love the inside. The problem is that its on 290 meaning that coming from say Jones road,I have to do a U turn on Southerland Road just to get to it. Plus its almost always crowded. Id go there alot more often if it stayed open late. Btw,that waitress is cute. Where do you stay,White?

Ill give an example. Last Friday night,My friend Matt,his girl Jean,and I were going to a bar on Main Street to see one of his favorite indie bands.
