Yep, the Prof can read peoples’ minds, or did you not read the X-Men in your younger days? He’s really good at what he does.

Aragorn, on the one workout where you mentioned that he could swith his bic/tric to friday and put back and legs together, what could you put in on monday with chest? Monday would only have chest bc triceps would be moved to friday, so what do u suggest to add with chest on monday? thanx

GO ILLINI!

MONDAY- chest, biceps, two exercises each

TUESDAY- legs, triceps, two exrecises

WEDNESDAY-off

THURSDAY- swhoulders, abdominals, two exercises each

FRIDAY-back two exercises maybe three

SAT/SUN-off

Ok, you could add a second (well, first) abs day, you could add a second shoulder day with it (lighter day, if you’re going to blast them later in the week on Thurs), or you could just concentrate on heavy pushing for the chest, which would give the triceps another workout in the week. If you do that option, just be sure to keep the emphasis on the chest and not do a whole bunch of triceps intensive/isolation movements. Save that for Friday.

Any of those options could work. Adding a lighter shoulders/abs to the chest workout gives both of them some extra stimulus during the week, as well as some indirect triceps work if you end up pressing overhead and doing a lot of bench work.

Just doing chest with a lot of pushing/pressing should give the triceps a lot of stimulus, as well as the chest.

The idea was that Monday would be compound movements for chest (most probably hitting triceps as well) with maybe some chest isolation work thrown in, while friday would be your isolation work for the arms, as they would have gotten worked hard in the big compound pushing/rowing/chinning movements earlier in the week. That way you coul do curls and extensions to your heart’s content if you wanted, and experiment around with different isolation movements.

Just some thoughts.
