No one has been diagnosed to have a micro prolactinoma. His levels aren’t outrageous.
Yea they are only 60% high lol
no they are about 3 times range, not 60% based on his latest posting.
Easily can be caused by his E2
I hadn’t even looked at that one as the pre TRT labs are enough to know the guy has a micro-prolactinoma.\
And no it cannot, your assertion is ridiculous and only plays out in internet fantasy land.
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about
Amazing that professional medical people would need an MRI to determine that but you can look at a single blood test result. Clown.
I clearly have no idea what I am talking about? You are the one that suggested this guys PRL problem was due to exogenous T and he wasn’t even on T!!
Seriously what are you talking about.
Your response to opposing viewpoints is predictable. Go the fuck away.
I’m referring to his result whilst on T.
His results before are barely high and could be caused by sex the night before or cuddling a puppy
Your referencing a old steroid myth that has some truth to it for people that have marginally high PRL, not when it is out of the ball park like this.
There is a 90% chance this guy either has micro-prolactinoma or some other kind like a GH adenoma, as referenced by the research YOU posted.
So clearly, you don’t even understand the literature on the subject. It clearly defines what hyper prolactinemia is.
Read this mr know it all - you may learn something

But he wasn’t on T on his pre-TRT labs so your theory is kind of out the window now.
My theory that his prolactin has risen from 400 to 1100 whilst on T is likely probably due to excessive E2 and this should be ruled out before the guy goes to buy prescription drugs off the internet is out of the window?
Please clarify?
It really doesn’t matter. His levels were high pre TRT, like I said he needs a dopamine agonist stat. I never said to buy it off the net, there are lots of legal ways to get it quickly.
Other reason for high prolactin
-
High Estradiol. It is no secret that, if you increase estradiol, you will increase prolactin release. [2] Some of the older research showed that this effect was dose dependent, i.e. the more estradiol you added, the higher prolactin increased. [3] And researchers have discovered one of the key mechanisms: estradiol regulates the transcription of the prolactin gene . [4] So, if you are on the high side with prolactin, one of the first things you should probably pull is estradiol. Remember that, as men, we need the appropriate LC-MS/MS test that can pick up our relatively low levels of estradiol (compared to a female).

Hypothyroidism. An underactive thyroid will also drive up prolactin levels in us men. Of course, this is an especially ugly situation, because hypothyroidism tends to lower testosterone and sap your energy levels. So, if you have hypothyroidism and high prolactin, you have potentially got a nasty set of symptoms to manage. Furthermore, hypothyroidism is underdiagosed, because so few doctors really test adequately for low thyroid function.

Drugs. Many very common classes of drugs can raise prolactin levels. No, they didn’t put that on the label, did they? Look at this list from one set of researchers: " antidepressant drugs with serotoninergic activity, including selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) , monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO-I) and some tricyclics, can cause hyperprolactinemia. A long list of other compounds may determine an increase in prolactin levels, including prokinetics, opiates, estrogens, anti-androgens, anti-hypertensive drugs, H2-receptor antagonists, anti-convulsants and cholinomimetics." [6]
And his PRL didnt go up to 1,000 it went from 424 to 524.
Seriously so much misinformation
“It doesn’t really matter”
You mean you admit you can’t defend your bull?
Careless. Quack.
May end up being true but investigate.
No it went to 1100, read the whole post
What are you talking about? You have clearly been schooled on this subject and I don’t know really what else to say here lol.
I defined hyperprolactinemia with the article YOU posted, and the labs he has PRE TRT clearly shows he has it.
Yet you are arguing it is his estrogen from the exogenous T he wasn’t even on lol Then tried to say his levels went up to 1,000 to prove your point? They went up 100 points, thats it.
Seriously you are babbling now.
Prolactin levels of 400mU/L does not indicate a prolactinoma.
Perhaps you struggle with the units
