Been on TRT for 10 Weeks and I Love it

Hey everyone, I am 55 and have been on TRT for 10 weeks and it has been amazing. I went from 405 testosterone to 609 in eight weeks. My attitude is up ( although I do get irritable very easily) my libido is great and morning wood has returned! I am on 200 mg a week and just started with ai (anastrolze) 1 mg included in my injection once a week so I am assuming my estrogen came back high. My doctor doesn’t really give me a lot of info on my blood test results… I guess I am trusting that he knows what he is doing. I have made good strength gains and lost a lot of belly fat. Is this too good to be true? I am waiting for the other shoe to drop… I am naive? Or just stupid?

Great to hear. Most guys post in this forum because our protocols get off, start dealing with lots of negative side effects, and not sure where to turn. It’s very refreshing to hear about your positive experience.

I would recommend you get your labs and a thorough understanding of pros and cons from your doctor. It’s great that you feel better, but like everything in life, knowledge is power and there may come a time when you have to advocate for yourself.

I’d also recommend reading the stickies and posting more about yourself so we can have a better understanding of your situation. For instance, 200mg EW is basically double that of a standard protocol. Not unusual, but on the higher range. How did you decide on the dose? Which AI are you taking, and how do you feel?

Also, many guys do report a honeymoon phase when starting trt. It’s very common to hear things are going great followed by a huge crash. More reason to get your labs and know your details, just in case things takes a turn for the worse.

Glad that it’s working for you but you must realize that this is not a set it and forget program. You could probably benefit from breaking your doses into two doses every 3.5 days. Read the stickies at the top of the page. If you are lucky KSman will comment on your thread. He knows his shit!
