I crushed that workout!

Yes, I was probably hyped up on adrenaline and caffeine after another hell of a day, but…

I STILL crushed that workout!

Today was the first day where I felt like I could’ve just pulled the trigger and taken any one of those sets—squats and bench alike—for seemingly endless reps.

I’m not sure that my body actually would’ve been able to keep pace, but my mind wanted to just GO!

As it was, I was able to keep the goal the goal and reign it in, but it was an awesome day, start to finish!

Edit: It just occurred to me that although “the goal” has been rolling around in my head for the better part of a week, I haven’t actually written it down, here or anywhere else, so…

Although my working weights are creeping up to PR range for several (all?) of the lifts, I’ve obviously not been pushing any of the 3+ or 1-3+ sets beyond 5 reps in this cycle. And although I was originally thinking I’d cycle up in the next (and final) cycle of God Sven is a Beast, I’ve decided instead to keep my TMs the same and build toward the PR attempts in the final week of this template.

That’s the plan right now, anyway—we’ll see how it goes!
