Becoming Broken

Why can´t you read a book at work?

Are there constantly people around you?

OP, other than your original post all you’ve done is complained when someone gave you irrelevant advice, and you called out someone on the internet [How old are you? Have you seen the way other call outs have ended here?]. You haven’t responded to the other advice, some of which seemed pretty good.

You’re expecting too much out of this thread. Either that or you don’t know what you want out of this thread. Either way you’re coming off as really immature, and looking back on past posts of yours here don’t seem to alleviate that. You ARE sounding like someone who can’t seem to do things for yourself the way you get frustrated that the help here isn’t good enough.

BTW, when you said ESP, I thought you meant ESPN anyway. I wouldn’t be surprised if others made that assumption too.

anonym come over to my house so I can teach you some reading comprehension, First off I said nothing about surfing the internet I said ESP.ESP is my works internal work website with nothing exciting.

Second I said if I helped out with the work it would get done much faster leaving the workers with nothing to do meaning less hours, pay and work to do for the workers.I am a manager meaning I manage the crew and make sure they have the tools and material needed to finish there tasks.

I can’t sit around reading a book or searching the internet for a better job, I do that at home and have acouple in the works.

I never once said I wasnt gratefull to have a job because trust me I am.

You think im a bitch thats fine, you dont know me so im not about to get upset about words said over the internet. But all you have in youre profile is picture of randy marsh which makes me think youre probably the bitch.[/quote]

I have a year old progress picture in the T-Cell in the members before/after thread. I just happen to think Randy Marsh is a better-looking representation of the ideal T-Man.

Straying from the absolute relevance of that point you brought up - I apologize, but, like LarryDavid, I assumed by ESP you meant to type ESPN… silly of me to assume you would’ve had the wherewithal to clue us in to the fact that ESP is actually a company database and not, as I assumed, a typo for the widely popular - and much, much, much, much more well known - ESPN network.

But, does this really change the fact that you still have enough free time on your hands to zone out on the job and wander around the shop looking for something exciting to do? That you can always haul ass and plow through your tedious work and then move on to something you would find more enjoyable?

You have yet to give a reason as to why you can’t do anything suggested thus far - simply that you can’t. What do you want? Advice or a pity party? If it’s the former, at least give some more information… is there someone supervising you around? If so, why can’t you just read a book and explain that you’ve gotten all your work done and are waiting for more to come down the pipeline when asked? Why not ask for more responsibilities? You refuse to fill us in on any important details other than how you are becoming the subject of a Seether song and then get mad when any advice is off the mark.

Or do you simply want to continue referring to yourself as being one of a variety of large, sometimes predatory, animals and have everyone here to just give you a consolatory pat on the back?

it seems like you are lacking in the area of creativity. you migt want to pick up a philosphy book, that usuall gets my brain jumping. After thinking hard, its usually wasy to come up with a distraction plan.

don’t ignore the pattern of children

work then play

think of ways to play while you work

ex. kid is doing math but thinking of whipping out the nintendo ds afterwards.

i’ll try to explan better in a lil bit

never did I ask or intend to get any advice or ask for anyone to feel sorry for me, nor was I complaining. I posted this thread just to kind of express how I have been feeling at work, Nothing more.

LarryDavid where did I complain about any advice, And sorry to all if I wasnt clear on what ESP was I thought most people would be familiar with it as it is a common work engine. Also who did I call out, are you refering to anonym, I wasnt calling him out I was defending myself. It sounds like you may need to go back and reread some of the posts.Im not gonna waste my time calling out anyone online as it would be awaste of time, internet tough guys are a dime a dozen and I dont mean any of you just in general.

So in the end I quess i was just expressing how I have been feeling at work, not complaining just talking about it.I have some other things in the works but all things take time.Im also very creative if any of you would like to see some of the wood work ive done I would be happy to post some pics.

And anonym I cant hate on you for having pics of Randy Marsh I fucking love southpark. But as far as a good T-man, I dont know about that.

Haha, he’s actually just my favorite character on the show.

And for whatever it’s worth, I apologize for being a douche… I read the thread, drew some conclusions and posted some hasty responses. If your job IS that shitty, and there’s nothing you can really do to make it more fulfilling, then I’m sure you know what you need to do.

Shit, my winter break is going to be spent working the graveyard shift unloading newspaper pallets and delivering them to commercial establishments, so I’ll probably be starting a thread like this soon enough.
