Becoming a Fighter Pilot

Obviously this guy is a douche and/or troll. The line about people joining the Army at 18 to be grunts cuz they don’t have any better options is classic uninformed bullshit. All of the enlisteds cannot WAIT until you are among them. They will have so much fun at your expense. Oh wait, you have to actually become a pilot to find out. Riiiiiight. To all on the forum who have or are serving, thanks for your service.

You earned what? What are you entitled to, officer?

Im not military. I think the military is great, our country would be nothing without it. That doesnt mean civilians cant form opinions or talk shit about the military. Youre regular people. Not fucking buzz lightyear. Dont get butt hurt when a pimply ginger that loves german suplexes makes fun of people who you can relate to, makes you sound kinda fruity. Dont ask dont tell amirite?? amirite guyz??

This is fucking funny as well. Well done. And fuck this kid he sounds like a homo.

0311 was my first MOS and I’m proud of it. No matter what technology comes out, you’ll never replace “boots on the ground”

6326 ftw  Amirite inkaddict, amirite??

Bonez and mapwhap are both right in a sense…this kid IS talking out of his ass about shit he doesn’t know anything about, it’s like a casual gym goer talking shit about Jay Cutler. He doesn’t have any business going there, he’s out of his depth. At the same time, it doesn’t mean Jay has the right to be a total douche for no good reason to anyone in the gym smaller than him.

I just love all these guys that believe everything their recruiter tells them, and think life is like top gun.

NOTE: Most of military life is very boring (unless you’re holymac obviously), and you deal with a lot of bullshit on a day to day basis. If you’re able to get used to it, it isn’t all that bad. Also, you will NOT get bitches just for being in the military, ESPECIALLY in military towns…in most military towns, the civilians can’t stand us.

and goddammit people, my butterbar got burned like 4 months ago, thanks for keeping up with my life.

sorry we all can’t have cool jobs where we work on V-22s.

showoff :frowning:

3E471 for the win.

A real job? And I learn (some) combat skills a long the way? Cool!

The best job in the army in my opinion is being a flying WOC or a crew chief, cause the training is there everyday no need to go to the field the field is the base. Not to sound bad but I always believed if one was to make a career of the military he should go to best, meaning SF or another elite force.
I joined and wanted too but I felt it was a life long career choice with an extreme commitment which led me to choose my family. Only reason I did not stay in all 20, shit right now I am 29 I would have 12yrs of service past halfway to retirement.
Also I heard V-22’s aint that cool work on, limited missions. Best overall aircraft is the UH-60 all missions capable, almost…

Congrats on being a 1LT Holy Mac, you at Ft. Rucker in AL?

Yes, it explains why the two former Marines down the hall are always winking at me and asking me if I want to “Be Safe” tonight while inviting me over for cocktails.
