It is a generality, but your butthurt is strong enough that describing something that is common in the news world and affects all of us is somehow racist. Then pretty much the entire world and everything that is not vetted by the PC committee is racist.

It isn’t about “everything”. It is about common issues like this where the racism is so ingrained in society it is missed completely until someone asks who the spokesperson for white people is.
That is an example of institutional racism. It is accepted as a norm to a degree that you can’t see the issue until someone literally spells it out for you.
Someone can post a gif saying that blacks make up racial profiling and no one takes issue with it.
Pointing these issues out to you does not denote “hate”.

Can’t be.
Peter Griffin said it was ok.

THAT explains why everyone is so pissed.
To a point, what we call “racism” is natural. People that look similar are simply more likely to associate with each other. It’s not just skin color…height, skin color, body weight, etc, all are factors in who we tend to gravitate towards socially and otherwise. Same reason that a shit-ton of Hillary’s votes came from women. Saying that nobody’s race plays the slightest bit into what you think of them is silly. Now, ONCE PEOPLE GET TO KNOW specific people of other race, they can see past their color/ethnicity.
I DO judge people much more seriously by how they dress and carry themselves than by their skin color, as I think those are much better indicators. But let’s be honest with statistics…black people are more likely to commit violent crimes, middle eastern dudes are more likely to be suicide bombers, asians are more likely to excel in academics. Those are a result of cultures that HAPPEN to largely coincide with skin colors/physical features.
Acknowledging statistics isn’t wrong. Passing judgment without being willing to reconsider and keep an open mind, on the other hand, is.

This post will not be addressed by the race-baiters and racists on this thread.

Exactly this.
Wow, I was expecting to get a lot of flak for being blatant about this issue. Glad to see others on the same page. Most people I’ve had a chance to discuss this topic with in depth IRL agree with that basic premise, but the interwebz is a mean place usually.
h4m you posted exactly what I think the bulk of this forum believes. It just isn’t good enough. And as others stated, people won’t address the main point because there is nothing to debate. If you get any response, it will be nit-picking in an effort to distract from what was being said.
Good deal.
